- We are heading into a renovation journey after buying a 80's fixer-upper. Join me for a before tour of our home where I'll talk about changes coming up. There is a lot going on with this house, and we will just have to bite a little bit off at a time to get it done. We're in this for the long haul.

CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 Val I haven't been on for over a year. I had 3 brain aneurysms surgeries in 2023. With a few complications I wasn't able to watch your videos. The laundry room and bathroom wallpaper is really cute! My 21 year old told me that if we buy a house with wallpaper don’t assume it needs to come down. Funky wall paper is super trendy right now.

Love the new/old house! Best thing about buying an older home is the rooms/closets and even doorways seem a bit bigger. Have fun making it your own.

A nice spacious home, and it is likely very well constructed as that era of homes were something that is no longer standard in today’s new construction. The wallpaper, once upon a time very charming, is a task waiting to happen.

The dark entry wallpaper would probably be made prittier by just wainscoting the bottom. half in a light color. Same in that overly blue dining room.

Love the built in bookcases!!!! Those blue walls are so nice! Love the chair railing in the blue room. Love the bay window in the kitchen area too. Love the master bedroom with walk in closet and walk in shower. I have heard that wallpaper can be painted over.

I grew up in a home with a full wall mirror in the bathroom and have never found a modern bathroom I like as much as I did that one.
