Banger video dude! This really makes me want to play Guitar Hero lol. Also dang, if that 42ms means how much input delay there really is, than that means two and a half frames of lag.
Thank you man! 😁 yeah I got mixed results with the delay, it really only occurs more with composite signals. (Even though when playing I can't really tell.)
@@OfficialGlitchDoctor Maybe composite requires extra processing to upscale? I'm not too sure, but if Through The Fire and the Flames was the only time you *may* have fealt it, I think you're all good lol
Yo dude excellent work, I've been really getting back into Guitar Hero since last year (Mostly playing Clone Hero or playing the official games on PCSX2 the PS2 emulator (GH1, GH II and GH Rocks The 80's) and the PS3 emulator RPCS3 for everything from GH III onwards) and yeah this song is hell. I can't pass the intro for the life of me, I use the SG Gibson guitar which is the guitar for the PS2 version of Guitar Hero II. Tbf I've never seriously tried this on Expert either because I still haven't gotten past Raining Blood on Expert and obviously haven't tried the battle with Lou yet. I've only managed to finish Guitar Hero Aerosmith and Guitar Hero 5 on Expert as those 2 are the easiest and trust me your reaction for beating flames was my reaction for beating Scatterbrain (Live) by Jeff Beck in GH5 cause that song is also pretty tough but nowhere near as hard as Flames. Seriously excellent work, and on PS2 no less which doesn't even have a separate audio and video lag option (PS3 and 360 do after a title update). One day I'd love to join you in having beaten this song too. I'd love to see more Guitar Hero videos too.
Thank you! 😄 Yeah I was grinding these games years and years ago. I feel like after just having understood enough of the song, it helped carry me through most of it. The intro is always a hurdle, but using the right strats its feasible after enough time. Hope you can reach goals like this too. 👍👍 Yeah perhaps if I have more cool ideas for GH content I will make more videos on it. 🙂
@@OfficialGlitchDoctor Ya I know i just gotta stick to a strat, I'm just very nervous and tend to choke hard. Like if I miss one note in a section like that I tend to just spiral downwards lol.
@@TheFEARSlayer01 Oh yeah I understand. I have a hard time coming back from choking in the intro sometimes. But I feel if you want it badly enough, you can do it. 👍👍
Honestly just comes down to practice. Play the game enough, gradually increase the difficulty until you're more comfortable with it. 🤙 I'd recommend playing through Guitar Hero 1-3's setlist.

Great video; Keep up the great work man! 💪
Thank you very much! 😄
Congrats dude, appreciate a video on the entire journey! Still haven't passed the intro to this day myself lmao.
Thank you! 😄 Hey honestly I believe that if you grind a lot and try a method for the intro like I did, you can pass it too. 👍

I can barely hit orange notes
