Well I got a 32 although my waist size with measuring tape is a 29. I had a 30 at first and they fit fine, it's just that I like my pants to fit on the looser side rather than on the slimmer side, so the 32 was better for my personal preference. If you want your pants to fit normally a 34 will fit fine, but if you want a little extra room i'd get a 36. Either way both sizes will still fit. Hope this helps🙏
