How do I beat act 2 in honour mode? Well it's a loose guide. Feel free to make your own choices ESPECIALLY THE MORAL ONES. These videos are meant to be ideas and an inspiration for your own playthrough. Also how CRACKED is the Titanstring Bow?

REGARDING MYRKUL / THISOBALD / SHAMBLING MOUND:
I killed Roah Moonglow in the first vod. She has the Ne'er Misser which deals FORCE damage instead of piercing. This hand crossbow can help with these bosses as they are either a) resistant or b) immune to piercing damage. So grab this bow to actually do damage to these bosses. Also I had several practice runs against Myrkul solo as an archer, trust me I tried many methods. There are other solo honour mode players that have slower, safer techniques but I have a short attention span and I like to deal nova damage in my play style so yeah, this is my take.

I'm seriously so impressed with how easy you make all of this look. I've been struggling through some of the same encounters with a full 4-person party on Tactician mode... I probably suck too much for Honour mode lol

This was great, and learning about the consequences of concussing a character was useful info for the future.
The combat in my honour runs has been surprisingly smooth (I do massively overprepare). It's the non-combat stuff where I keep slipping up - accidentally aggroing people, rolling three consecutive nat 1s in the Zaithisk, doing quests in fractionally the wrong order and cutting off whole sections of the map. Oh, and the Kagha bug that makes her amulet disappear when you loot it.
On the whole, though, very much enjoying it (and your streams, of course)!
yo knocking isobel unconcious should not disable the lastlight shield and kill everyone. that was bs to a new level. especially for rolling a 1 on something that shouldn't even be a check.
Story wise, she is concentrating on the shield.

Jumping is truly one of the best skills
Ev, found a fun solo playthrough of Balthazar for myself. Umbral Tremor (teleporters) appear in front of his chambers. If you open the door to Balthazar's chambers, his company will fight dark justiciars. The main thing is not to destroy the teleporters, especially in the center - a unique mob will appear. While they are fighting among themselves, you can kill Balthazar. Then you can kill all the dark justiciars without much trouble.
Also, usually Balthazar loses without your intervention lol, even in honor mode. You do need to smack him once if you want the exp from him though otherwise it’s apparently inconsistent since he’s technically neutral to you if you haven’t gone into combat with him yet. (And I do recommend letting the combat play out, even if it’s slower, bc it’s less taxing on your own resources. Knock is good, but a high enough DEX/sleight of hand character can do it too (I did it with a rogue that had +13 to sleight of hand lol and then I locked myself in the treasure room nearby and used the chests inside to block the doorway)
Hey Evelyn, I found your channel yesterday and love the chill vibes of the full honor vods! If you do this route again where you keep the buffs by avoiding long rest maybe keeping the periapt of wound closure handy for the radiant retort section could save you some pots. Once you're done with the solo stealth archer do you have any plans for more full vod runs solo or otherwise? Would definitely love to see you do more of this style of video!
Maybe a full party walk through or duo run would be next

i just defeated Myrkul on solo honor mode. Running a gloomstalker/fighter-build. Wihtout barrels it took ages lol :) ggs

I think it was the reverb that killed Isobel - It's done that to Minsc and to Mayrina's bros when I've tried to KO them instead of kill them. But good lord WHAT a recovery!!
I thInk the same thing would happen even If you knocked her out for narrative reasons. She's the one keeping the entire place shielded, after all.
With your build I discovered the assassin shortsword in act 2 for the stealth advantage, it makes stealth archer great early on !
Is there a camera mod being used in this run? I cant move my camera or get angles like that. It aways seems to prevent me from zooming out and in as fast as you, and there's no options for it.
The game play is great, but more than that i love that accent. I would totally watch another play thru as a different class. keep it up

When I first fought Gerringothe Thorm on Balanced, I got one shot. So the second time around, I waited till their patrol brought over the edge of the building’s window, and pushed them out. The front door was locked since I never went through that way, so I threw things at them from above well they bumbled around (I guess they can’t unlock doors?)
So I'm doing my first Honour mode run, with a group obviously, and I'm just about to go into Act 2 (just have the Death Shepards in Mountain Pass left) and I'm using your Ranger/Bard build and it's going well (console player here). Not looking forward to Myrkul though. Love your content and I do catch your streams when I can. Never talk though because social anxiety lol. Can't wait for the next VoD ❤

55:30 when you kill a skull, she sublimates and turns nearby enemies to gold. Please never scare me like that again
Extra tip for the elevator skip @2:08:00 - even if you're using fly still have another party member ungrouped. I just died doing it as somehow I flew through the floor? Even better, have the extra character do the skip then unlock the door and get the waypoint. This way even if they die you keep all your bonuses like Loviatars blessing, etc.
As for the camera, face the same way as in this vod but move it back to the otherside of the walkway you're standing on and you can see and click the lower platform easily. Then double click portrait to follow character so the ground doesn't despawn.

I'm a BG3 newbie and I've been trying to emulate, but I must have missed something because I'm not getting the damage, nor the jump range. This is great watching - would be awesome to have a collage of your level upgrade decisions (or maybe it's other buffs I'm missing?)
She has a video from about 3 months ago called "BG3: Stealth Archer is a Perfectly Balanced Build" that might be what you're looking for?
There are also buffs carried over by not long resting as much. Once you long rest, they go away.
It sounds like maybe you aren’t using strength potions. You need to use one after each long rest you take

Just a basic Gloomstalker ranger with a touch of rogue for bonus actions, using Titanstring Bow and a STR stat stick (or flask). Boots of Stormy Clamour for the Reverberation, Risky Ring to balance out the Sharpshooter trait, Yuan-Ti Scale Mail for stealth and other DPS-items. That said, this A1 is a great watch so don't miss it 😉

I've tried to blow up Myrkul on solo honour run just like this. It didn't work. Did they patch something to stop the barrel trick?
I had the same luck at last light with my durge. Luckily I had the cloak and could easily stealth kill the whole inn

Is the backpack exploit patched? When I try it, it doesn't seem to work anymore. That would make Solo Honour a lot harder.
You can no longer buy out a vendors entire stock with a backpack, but if you have a feeling one might have a ~tragic accident~ soon, everything in said backpack will be free for the taking.

died on ansur :((((( i casted shield on breath, and forgot to hide one who casted shield inside the barrier and when he died barrier disapeared and i died too :S
