You can get the look of Uma Thurman's track suit in Kill Bill if you dye Shadowheart's clothes yellow. Yellow dye doesn't work; use lemon, lime & lichen. Because BG3.

To save time on longresting, you can respec a companion you dont use and after every level up, close out the level up screen and buy from the trader. Each time any character levels up the shops refresh. This means every long rest, you can get as many shop refreshes as you have levels to lvl up.
yeah nah genuinely i personally wouldve restarted the run and made sure to talk to Baltazhar in act 2 so Shadowcute doesnt leave me I am weak, but knowing i am weak makes me strong.

Extra potions trick: recruit the wizard from Withers > respec them with high wisdom, and pick the medicine skill > make them transmutation wizard at level 2, they can now make 2 potions with a DC 15 medicine check > cast enhance ability - owls wisdom on them with one character, and guidance with another. Even at level two, they now have a 1d20+3(17wis)+2(proficiency bonus)+1d4(guidance) and they roll twice due to owl's wisdom to create 2 potions for the price of one. Keep upping their Wisdom score as you level up, leave them in camp for when you want to make more potions.
Believe merchants also restock on a level up, so you can just take 3 level 1 hirelings out shopping. At level 6, say, you can do 15 level-ups and check the merchant each time for new stock
next time let balthazar die in the first encounter and keep shart. Just need someone to open that wierd door. Invis works i think. Wizard probably needs a 20 but eh. Worth

Not only did the platform bug for me in one of my honor runs and drop two people, they somehow only went down instead of insta dying and Gale ended up stabilizing behind a rock wall. Guess it's time to switch to tactician haha
you can reset shopkeepers quicker by reseting you class, then repeat 1. buy all you want from a shopkeeper 2. level up 3. repeat for as long as you can level up 4. reset class again infinite shop resets much quicker

I'm desperately looking for a way to play this game without other party members and as my first full playthrough. So on balanced difficulty for now. Do you have any build recommendations? Been looking at how you've skipped meeting the other main cast party members. I'd like to do the same and have a build that can carry me through solo balanced bg3. A few solo builds I can think off at the top of my head. Stealth archer, fighter, throw barb, bardadin, Monk. There's many more of course but these are the ones I've had experiences with playing
I had ideas about a similar challenge- except it would be an all fighter/barbarian challenge and no magic items would be allowed… I think your run was harder
Yooo another girly who does challenge runs! If you ever need help, I"m no stranger to suffering :) I did a run with only using psychic damage recently and it was awful, don't do it.
Man I gotta keep playing BG3 so I can watch more than half of these videos, I know it's heresy playing something else but BG3 if you haven't finished it...
To be fair tho, i'm pretty sure you can beat the game with any class if you just turn it into a throwing build, it's still the most broken thing in game i've seen, and it get online so quickly and is consistently strong throughout the game.
