Very interesting build. I'm surprised your ESC is holding up. What the heck are you using? XD Have you looked into Turnigy 2200mAh 1S 40C or even a Molicel P30B for something that could possibly give more flight time while meeting the high discharge ratings?
Running the tmotor 13A 1S aio that has blheli32. The 32bit esc delivers more power to the motors than 8bit escs running bluejay/jesc/blheliS. The 1s pack is 1100mah ripped from a 6s pack. It's all about discharge rate. The hole electrical drive train is about dumping the current. Thus was the design goal. Current = torque. Using liion would work but prolly couldn't handle the current peak draw without major sag. Also weight would be a killer mate.

How many minutes do you get with 1050mah 1s? Is it rcinpower gts v3 motors?
