- MEP Considerations - Part Two
In this video, Alec Purdie (Technical Manager) delves into key factors for MEP Designers. Since the introduction of the Building Safety Act, design has become a major focus for the construction industry. Where services cross over fire-separating elements, such as walls and floors, they are identified as compartmentation lines. To ensure the compartmentation of the building is maintained, a suitable service penetration sealing system is essential, such as what we offer at Quelfire. Following specific rules and guidelines is important, ensuring that our evidence can be applied while aligning with guidance from the test standard we adhere to.
