Quelfire’s products are all independently tested at Warringtonfire, which is a UKAS accredited certification body. A significant proportion of annual investment goes into research and development in order to provide the construction industry with primary test evidence over engineering judgements.
We frequently receive inquiries regarding solutions for high-fire-rating environments like substations or basements, where fire ratings can reach up to four hours. Our recent cable testing for such applications has provided great results, with details now available for rigid walls up to EI 240. For further insights, tune in to Glenn Hutchins, our Business Development Manager.
The right firestopping system, installed correctly, saves lives. At Quelfire, we have a friendly and honest team who are always willing to help with problems faced by the construction industry. We provide support from planning through design to installation and aim to answer any enquiries within one working day.
