- Squatters have taken over a Gordon Ramsay pub in London which is currently up for sale with a guide price of £13 million.
A group of at least six squatters locked themselves inside the Grade II-listed York & Albany hotel and gastropub situated just outside Regent’s Park, boarding up the windows and putting up a “legal warning” defending their takeover.

I can just see him barging in; "Right,... you, you, you, you and you.... GET OUT!!!!"
Britain .... Private properties are not protected by law.
Does that mean I can take over a bank on the weekend?
Why a bank why not just take over Buckingham palace
WOW... Pre-Internet, never in a billion years I'd have thought this issue occurred in _Great Britain_ 🇬🇧
Set off the fire alarms sprinkler system, Gordon. They’ll soon be on their way.
"This just in Gordan Ramsay's pub burns down and he collects the insurance money, no word on squatters..."
Blame lockdown politicians
Why not call it trespassing? That's what it is. Trespasser protection laws are only for lost kids or "not fully there" people (alzhimers or something)
It is being treated as a trespass. Trespass comes under civil law.
This guy has squatters removed in days, but the father who has cancer or the family that just bought a home in Georgia will wait months and no one does anything........😢
Couldn't have happened to a better person.
could not be happier.
So Gordon Ramsey doesn't own the pub the film director Love owns the building. Ramsey is just the tenant
Interesting. So whose problem is the squatters?
Freehold..
@@DocLanky. who cares lol
@@bryanbrookes6366 Pathethic response of yours. Do you have no shame?
I'm so sorry @RandyB66 that you have to deal with that person, i know its frustrating, you asked an excellent question and i really appreciate you for bringing that up.
While i'm not a lawyer, it wouldn't surprise me if the responsibility ultimately falls on Ramsay to solve the problem.
@@chinesekangaroo the matter is covered by civil law and if you find a picture of the notice the squatters put on the premises it explains their rights.
Nothing anybody commenting on here will change what has happened. Its up to the freeholder and leaseholder to sort out so as I said who cares
So the UK has no laws regarding vagrants obstructing normal business operations?
They are not obstructing normal business. The business has closed down.
@@pencilme1n renegotiation of a lease is a normal business operation for a landlord.
1 good news in months.
Bizarre
Ah Gotham city...🤡🌍
Maybe some kind investor will buy it for Camden Arts.. 🇬🇧🌟🇬🇧
Reeeeeeee 😂
It always hits hard for a grifter like Ramsay to get a taste of his own medicine.
Yea, because you know him so well......🙄
Why? Does he invade other peoples business properties and refuse to get out? Stupid comment.
Keep voting Liberal Ramsay. Heh heh heh
lol haha tit isn’t he
55k/month rent...he's paying while no one's there? shouldv at least had a couple of live-in caretakers w/ cats & rat terriers patrolling the place. a waste to keep it empty. good for the squatters
Squatters? Spongers you mean!
Squatters are, by definition, criminals. No criminal is "good".
@@UpnorthHere many lawbreakers r good. laws r MADE to b broken. civil disobedience 101

Greed. His eyes are bigger than his belly. He's got so much stuff that he's lost control of it. HE doesn't think it's bad and HE doesn't want to share it.
Karma a-cometh.
"Hes got so much stiff". Its a business premisis! Hopefully some one will get the spongers out soon and it can generate jobs.
You do realise that Gordon has expensive prices due to the fact that he makes high quality products with high quality raw materials so pricing it low would just be a bad business choice
