Ben, if I could make a request can I see some videos where you got some things completely wrong regarding spirituality.
Times where you thought you were on the right path, had an epiphany that you weren't, and went through practices to implement changes? I want to know how you personally failed, corrected, and your trials and errors, before ending up at your center.
Other than that, I do enjoy that you're teaching people including myself. Yes, the spiritual path is visceral and individualized, and you don't need to convince anyone of your efficacy, or cater to personal requests like a performing monkey.
However, I think it could be beneficial in the long run. With the story of your Father and how he didn't believe in God until he found he could reach deep enough within with persistent joy before coming to the conclusion that God is evident but highly subjective. I really connected with that, how upheaval isn't quite a chase... It's more of an aligned effort and his story painted a personal side with a hint of a formula-ic flavor.
It illustrated how God is deeply personal and shines brightest through our sincerity of reach rather than method of grasp.
Keep up the fantastic work. Even if you decide to go another direction, I'm glad to have shared my point of view for your consideration, and await how it ripples in your being.

I have gone back and watched your early videos… you could do whatever format and I personally would watch but I would hope you keep it real like this video is. I find value in what you are sharing but this format makes you seem so accessible and real. Thank you for doing this. You have helped me a ton on the last few months. Blessings to you.

Thank you for this! For me, it has been kind of an organic process as the further into spiritual teachings and practice I go, the less interested I am in material things. I’ve never renounced anything material because I’ve never felt that I needed to. The interest just kind of goes away on its own.

There are people with different needs, but for me, the raw videos work great! You still pass a powerful message and you are efficient on it, since you don’t have to spend time editing.
Good job and thank you again, Ben! ❤

It doesn’t matter having nice or expensive things it’s ultimately how attached you are to things in this world. We are currently in a world where we need houses, cars, jobs, money. On some level a certain amount of income allows some level of freedom. A car tends to me personally be a tool. I’d likely have the same car even if i was rich. I don’t need a 20 bedroom house. “ Things you own own you.”:- Tyler Durden.

Very true. My daily practice kind of "burned" away the desires for things in the world. Naturally I have an apartment and food in the fridge but the old desires, motivations and ambitions aren't there anymore. I can't find the energy within my being to manifest money anymore. I see it in a completely different way these days.

  • @truthislove2012

Desire isn’t the problem, you’re here to express, it’s attachment that’s the issue.

    • @bensmithreal

Desire is a problem if the desires aren’t capped, because the primary desire, that of realisation becomes hijacked.

Thank you Ben for the video. I have to agree with other commenters that I really enjoy this video format. Actually enjoy it more than the outdoor videos as the outside and changes in lighting is a bit distracting in my opinion. Always enjoy your whiteboarding videos, but those are for teaching. Cheers

I can absolutely relate to the diet part, Im very much a beginner in the spiritual journey and not ready at all to give up meat, It gives me a lot of energy and allows me to go a long period of time without eating but when I feel ready I will try the vegan diet and see if it works for me.
Your videos have been very helpful in this journey, thank you so much.
    Best regards from Portugal!

I could be mistaken, but I believe it is not a problem to have material and financial wealth, but it is easy for such things to bring distractions, and if you have great wealth beyond what you actually need currently and in retirement, you may want to start asking yourself how you are serving yourself vs serving and benefitting others. It may also be part of your incarnation plan to have wealth or live in poverty because of the different experiences, opportunities and choices it offers. You cant take anything with you in death so focus on what remains; your decisions. Life is about choosing how to love, not how much or how little wealth you have.
I also think as you move along on your spiritual path and understanding, nice cars and big houses lose their appeal to some degree because your perception of material things changes

  • @Wendykempjewellery
    @Wendykempjewellery 18 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

I think all your material desires just melt away as you go further down the path.
I was wondering if you could do a video (please excuse me if you already have) on the layers of the dimentions when we pass over. Why are some spirits trapped in a dimention (which some people can see) and if a soul is spiritually evolved would they be able to contact someone in the 3rd dimention or do they go to such a high plane that no contact be made.
Thank you for all your teachings. 😊

Have you been in Roumania? I'm Roumanian and vegetarian also. Roumanians love to have guests and offer them all they can but they are not so educated yet to ask the guests before what kind of diet they prefer. When they hear about eating without meat they will say " and what to eat if I don't eat meat?" It's better to ask them food for fasting and they will offer you food without meat. 🙏❤️

Hi Ben, Random question, We all know that there will always be people who call themselves Teachers or Gurus ect but are actually sometimes a complete waste of time. However, i get the feeling that there are ones who actually bring so much joy/ happiness, even teaching people to heal themselves, also showing a deep gratitude to the divine for being able to do so. I can't help but feel that at this time in mans history these people are meant to be here now. Personally, i prefer your straight forward approach and also the sense of safety with you (if that makes sense), but could it be that others are being awakened to a different personality? ( sorry for the ramble)

Hey! I do agree, there are lots of good teachers out there. Even the teachers that might not be particularly close to the truth still have value to share for folks at a different stage in their journey. I think there needs to be variety in teachers to cater for all the different types of people in the world 🙏

    Ben quick question from Canada
Have you had the chance to read Harry B Joseph’s books from the UK “The Book Of Wisdom” volume 1 or 2?
If not I highly recommend them, if you have read them what’s your opinion?
    Thanks

    Much gratitude to you Ben!
    I have a question;
After quite some years of meditation, it's like all thoughts are gone. There are no thoughts popping up.
Like the "I" or "Individual mind" has dissolved. This experience is wonderfull! The experience of 'no thought' has become like an anchor of awarness.
Like when thoughts are popping up, I'am aware of them all the time and they go away as quickly as they came.
I (This awareness) no longer identify with my thoughts. (I've created a distance between myself and the thought process).
Now for some time, I've been listening to your video's and advice. Also to other spiritual teachers.
But I'am not able to find/create anything on what is the next. Not that I want to be done with the process. It's now point blank and don't know which direction I need to look.
Maybe you shed some light on this?
    Thanks a lot!
    Kind regards!

I was vegetarian for a while. But have now listened to hundreds of TH-cam channels on being a carnivore. So now all I eat is animal products. Lots of ruminate animals. I’m saying it’s ironic that we’re on the opposite ends of the spectrum on eating. I still listen to your message though every time you release a video.

Interesting. I was told I was 'at the bottom' of the pyramid and that they were half way up, I didn't feel that was constructive to compare like that. Yes, I haven't been meditating long, but I have been consistent. I have already had many experiences and every soul has different starting points. Who knows what learning has already happened in previous lifetimes?

We’re here on earth to be do or have anything we want, to create any experience we want, but we should feel guilty for wanting a big house and a nice car? When someone is newly awakening and they find TH-cam, they’re finding thousands of people saying things with such assuredness and confidence when the truth is no one really knows… But all it is our thousands of voices in the New Age world all contradicting each other and saying my way is the right way. My way is the right way no my way is the right way.

I don’t think you need to be guilty but I think the message is there’s no need to be attached to material things because they are temporary
