My face turned red and looked bruised for a week but I never regretted doing it.

As an Odia, whose culture is highly religious, I am envious and proud of the South and Punjabis for streamlining their bhojan services so well. I really admire the crisp sarees, the horizontal tika on the forehead, the ID cards, and the wholly professional manner this service boasts. Great work. Jai Hind.

Beautiful state and Onam is always special when celebrated in a traditional way , its the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Vaman( 5th Avatar of Bhagwan Vishnu) and it is believed that his devotee great king bali comes on land and worships him this day
Onam story is simple, under mahabali rule kerala is most prosperous, no difference among people, peaceful than devalogam, this cause envy in devas and they ask Vishnu to do something other wise no one care devalogam, so vishnu accepted the request and he take the avatar of a brahmin boy and came to mahabali, king asked to take some gift from him, vamanan asked three feet land, king granded, and after taking the promise from king, vaman grow up like himalaya and by two step he took all his land, as he need third step, kind offer ti step on his head to keep the promise, he asked permission to visit his land once in year to see how his people live, he said ok and final step on his head and he was pulled to underground, onam is return of mahabali and festival of welcoming him to his land, and showing him we are happy

The way u put the banana leaf (direction) to the placement of each dish in that leaf has a theory.... The dishes included has a particular reason, the combination of the selection of dishes has a scientific ideology, sadhya is food but a medicine which has a perfect combination of sweet, spice, tanginess and all... There is a dish called olan in it... Which is used as a neutraliser... Which it's own can't be had as a curry but it's significance is to after eating rice scoop with one dish have a touch of olan so u can enjoy the next scoop of ur rice with another dish but by eliminating the taste of previous dish to enjoy this scoop perfectly.... And lately when u finish the way u fold ur banana too has a saying
