For me the first three albums were the best .Destroyer was a overproduced mess Rocking roll over was better and Love Gun was meh once Dynasty came out besides the Ace songs on that album i was done with them.

I believe an avatar is more along the lines of being like a video game image projected onto a massive screen. Yet I'm neither familiar with holographic images, but feel those would be more 3-D in appearance. I heard that Kiss spent 2.1 million to Black Rock to make this. I don't think they'll get as much out of it as they paid to have it designed.
Paul is definitely out running interference on this crap idea. He’s stating now that he knows they didn’t look great, but in the avatars preview short, he seemed to like them just fine.
story in 2012 i won sirius xm contest for a kiss town hall when they released monster. there was about 20 of us in this little studio. off to the right was the control room. during first break a girl who worked for sirius xm came out of control room and gave all members of kiss water . she was wearing an iron maiden shirt as shes leaving to go back into control room gene tries to grab her arm but she had already passed gene and was going out the door. gene turns to one of the sirius xm bosses he was talking to and says in typical gene voice "why is she wearing an iron maiden shirt this is a kiss event" the guy from sirius says i dont know but shes a big kiss fan. gene then says " well make sure she stays in control room for the rest of the town hall"

I know there's a lot of controversy surrounding this, but I can't wait! I love the idea that there are now no limitations as to where they can take the show, and they can really buy into the superhero nature of the characters. I'm definitely going to see a show!

No one is working WITH them anymore because they no longer own KISS. PopHouse is going to do what they want, with or without PS's approval. If they have an ounce of sense, they will generate something from the popular era of the band, like they did Abba. If they spend millions to replicate aging rock stars in wigs with two replacement players, they deserve the failure they will get. Respect the source material. My feeling (and hope) is Eric and Tommy only got these cheap avatars shown just to be included before that era ended.
