  • In today's video we listen to Paul Stanley talk about KISS' success coming off of Destroyer and going back into the studio to record the follow up album Rock & Roll Over. Paul talks about getting a producer for the record, as well as writing songs, and the struggle of getting Ace and Peter to produce quality material.

    Gene: "everyone messed up but me because I am a perfect being!"

    Paul can't handle that so many famous musicians credit Ace as being the guy that made them want to play music you never hear that claim about Paul

    • @3Storms
      @3Storms 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

      Exactly. No one ever credits Paul or Gene as their inspiration as musicians. Gene's bass playing doesn't go beyond root-towing four or five notes, and Paul's playing is Nirvana-levels of basic rhythm.

      Not Jazz but Swing and Big Band; Peter was a swing and big band style drummer and it fit with the stuff KISS was doing at that time.
      As for Paul saying Peter didn't play a musical instrument, Drums are the Oldest Musical Instrument in History but they are Not a String or oral used instrument.
