Dale, you don’t have to buy the AC this time. I remember the crane installation story, with your last AC. The salt bathroom story is wonderful. No one ever reviews Las Vegas restrooms. I wish they would. They can be hard to find & some can be impressive or not. 🤣.

I really enjoyed the story of the Ri-Ra, we have been there many times as the welcome meeting with the reps for Thomas Cook was held there on our first morning in Vegas. And for the Suncoast and Tivioli Village, we took the public bus from the side of New York New York on Tropicana to spend a half day at Tivoli and a couple of hours in the Suncoast, the bus took nearly an hour, so we treated it as a full day out away from the strip for a change. Lovely to see it all again in such detail. All the food looked delicious. See you Wednesday....
I love your foodie adventures! I loved that Irish Pub and the ambience. That Irish coffee would be right up my alley. The prices on the strip compared to Echo & Rig were very noticeable. The cocktail that you got Paula $13 that would’ve been at least $17 on the strip not to mention your entrées. Dessert for $8!! That would never happen at a nice restaurant on the strip. Last, but not least, you guys have some of the most generous viewers. ❤
We absolutely LOVE RiRa!!!! Amazing food and atmosphere 😊 Great video!!!!! We love all of the Titanic memorabilia there as well! I’m a huge Titanic fan!

Ri Ra used to be kind of a "hidden gem" for me at MB, a fantastic spot to get a drink and a meal. It's definitely gotten a lot more popular, as it was packed on my last visit. Great video!

This does look like fun! I have been wanting to check out Ri Ra. The bar is just awesome. Love the music. Wow...the Victorian Bar is gorgeous. Oh wow....best bourbon and Scotch selection. OK, I am going there on my next trip! The theatre room is cool too. What an awesome place. I am with you on the Full Irish breakfast Paula! Gotta do that! Dale, you are looking so good, and healthy! Really makes me happy. Paula is always just gorgeous. Echo & Rig: Very nice looking Bentley! That is one fancy looking restaurant. New York Strip for $39 is an awesome price in Las Vegas. As always, great content! both places my kind of place, very nice! , Echo & Rig haven't been there but it certainly seems my next destination next week when I go back to Vegas 5 full glorious days. While I'm in that area I'll also visit the Suncoast, One of Mr. Gaugahn's former places, packed full of great memories from back when almost all Coast casinos where almost new ( used to love going to all Coast casino places, I chose them over strip places back then. Thanks a lot Dale , thanks a lot Paula, you do a great job with your videos, your dedication to them shows in the quality of the video, audio and content, big thumbs up!!!! Hope you get your AC unit fixed quick, it's simply necessary there .

Went to echo and rig while visiting Vegas and hands down one of the best steaks and experiences out there. Got to choose between numerous large cuts with a plethora of sauces, charred onion was my favourite. Highly recommend
Ri Ra’s is our favorite restaurant. We were just in town July 23-27, we ate there all 5 days. Harp on draft and it’s so delicious. Sorry we missed you and hopefully we’ll see y’all March ‘24
I lived right next to Tivoli Village 7 or 8 years ago. Ate at a number of the restaurants there most of the time going Italian. I do remember taking a date for sushi. What ever happened to her anyway. Oh well. They had a nice Gelato place too.
"Absolutely" Count!!! LOL. I had to pause on that dessert menu from Echo and Rig. My choice (at least the first time eating there) would have been the Rocky Road Sundae.
I used to get Sunday brunch at a neighborhood Irish pub that included Irish soda bread, black pudding, eggs, sausage of some kind and can't remember what else. The black pudding took some getting used to. Of course there was a drink included usually a Bloody Mary. English pubs I went to here and there I mostly had fish and chips. In New York City I frequented so many Irish pubs I can't count. Included McSorley's Ale House one of the oldest and still had only one bathroom. Once upon a time of course it was only males. 😜 Tommy Maken's pub and more. Had my share of pints of Guinness. Now once in a while I'd have some steak and kidney pie or a real Irish dish.
I just had my AC die last week. I too live in the USA southwest with triple digit weather. I fixed it myself using TH-cam videos. It turns out if you don't have a coolant leak and the fan unit inside the house is still blowing, all suspect is at the condenser. The big square thing on the side of the building. If the compressor and fan both in the condenser aren't running when the unit is turned on and the inside the building bits are working, chances are the capacitor hanging on the side of the condenser unit went bad. Almost a 95% certainty bad. I bought a new capacitor for ~$25 USD on Amazon including same day shipping. I reserved it for the next morning to install after receiving it because of the outdoor heat. Using TH-cam videos as a guide I replaced the capacitor. I now sit in a 78F household with just yesterday's outdoor temperature reaching 113F. The point is if you can change a wall outlet or a lightswitch (given the right troubleshooting and instruction), you can fix your AC for $25 in a day.

I can't believe your air conditioner broke down. I remember when your air conditioner broke down at your old house a few years ago. That's rough. I have been to the Echo & Rig at Tivoli Village a number of times, but I have not been to the Henderson location yet. Dining companions I go with make fun of me because I am one of those weird people who usually orders salmon at steakhouses. Also, I prefer to sit out on the second floor balcony when it's really hot in the evening, so people think I'm crazy. I am almost ashamed to admit that I have never eaten at Ri Ra before. Many people have told me about it over the years, but I always thought of it as that tiny restaurant I would walk by at Mandalay Place. I had absolutely no idea that it went back so far and had so many rooms. I am going to make an effort to go there in the next few weeks to try the fish and chips and mushy peas.

OMG,so sorry you A.C went out,that just happened to me,I take care of my mom,so I went right out to Walmart and got two window a.c. units until I got the new central air conditioner,those window units work good and cheap, always enjoy your videos,stay cool🎉

Well I guess it depends where you are? At Ri Ra they call it an Irish Breakfast…at other venues in town it’s a full English Breakfast…and when I was in Scotland, it was a full Scottish Breakfast! 😊
Grannyfest is a gathering sponsored by a TH-cam channel out of Illinois, called Gamblin Granny. This couple comes here to LV in October, stays at El Cortez downtown, and hosts a ticketed event. But I believe it’s been sold out for a while now.

I’ve lived here for a very long time, and learned from experience that casinos, restaurants, showrooms, pubs are icy cold in summer with the A/C blasting. So I almost always choose a light sweater for evening. The Echo & Rig temp was an unusual situation, toasty warm!

Almost a 95% certainty bad. I bought a new capacitor for ~$25 USD on Amazon including same day shipping. I reserved it for the next morning to install after receiving it because of the outdoor heat. Using TH-cam videos as a guide I replaced the capacitor. I now sit in a 78F household with just yesterday's outdoor temperature reaching 113F.
The point is if you can change a wall outlet or a lightswitch (given the right troubleshooting and instruction), you can fix your AC for $25 in a day.
Pretending to be a Brain surgeon next? Electrical should be only done by a qualified electrician...you're voiding your insurance when your place burns down....

Oh my, that was a good one. I think I pee'd a little. :) I guess I shouldn't ever change a light bulb in my refrigerator either; that's electrical. You're really over thinking it. I suggest you watch an air conditioning capacitor change video or two on youtube to see how easy it is. Changing the oil in your car is harder.

I can't believe your air conditioner broke down. I remember when your air conditioner broke down at your old house a few years ago. That's rough. I have been to the Echo & Rig at Tivoli Village a number of times, but I have not been to the Henderson location yet. Dining companions I go with make fun of me because I am one of those weird people who usually orders salmon at steakhouses. Also, I prefer to sit out on the second floor balcony when it's really hot in the evening, so people think I'm crazy. I am almost ashamed to admit that I have never eaten at Ri Ra before. Many people have told me about it over the years, but I always thought of it as that tiny restaurant I would walk by at Mandalay Place. I had absolutely no idea that it went back so far and had so many rooms. I am going to make an effort to go there in the next few weeks to try the fish and chips and mushy peas.
We were just talking about going back to Summerlin for Eco and Rig ribcap! Much cheaper prices with A+ cuts!

Well I guess it depends where you are? At Ri Ra they call it an Irish Breakfast…at other venues in town it’s a full English Breakfast…and when I was in Scotland, it was a full Scottish Breakfast! 😊
What is the granny fest?
Grannyfest is a gathering sponsored by a TH-cam channel out of Illinois, called Gamblin Granny. This couple comes here to LV in October, stays at El Cortez downtown, and hosts a ticketed event. But I believe it’s been sold out for a while now.

I’ve lived here for a very long time, and learned from experience that casinos, restaurants, showrooms, pubs are icy cold in summer with the A/C blasting. So I almost always choose a light sweater for evening. The Echo & Rig temp was an unusual situation, toasty warm!
