I got 3 Rico Design brushes, which are very affordable and really nice. I picked one detail brush of their "art school" selection in 0, cause you can never have enough of those and 2 of their "Hobby" rack, with a bit more of an edge. Definitely check them out, most of their brushes are under 4€ 🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎 For gouache I chose Schmincke, the extra extra huge one in white. Usually I go for Lukas Gouache but it's quite hard to get and more expensive considerering their size, compared to others. The Schminke ones are really high quality. I usually only get their magenta, yellow and blue and mix with CHEAP koo-i-noor. -Which I actually would NOT recommend but also don't want to get rid of, so I use it for mixing pastels.🍎🍏🍎🍏🍎🍏

Loved the video and the illustration. I was just looking through Pixar color script book, wondering how I could study some of the images I liked. This video is right on time 😲 😊 Recreating a palette with an image of my own is an awesome idea, thank you!
One of the movies that I think has the most striking color palettes is Moulin Rouge, which relies heavily on red and blue. I think watching movies like that, where the color palette is so obvious and strong really helped to make me more conscious in my color choices for paintings, so I like the idea of intentionally basing a palette around scenes that you enjoy. Kind of makes me want to do something-maybe even intentionally choosing a color palette from a scene and using it to make a piece that feels completely opposite to whatever was being conveyed, just to see if it would work.

Whenever I’m painting I never take into consideration that the colors should convey an emotion or feeling and that’s why I feel like my art is dull. Sometimes I forget that it’s ok to look up references to see the color theme in scenes and pics for inspiration. This video reminded me of that so Thank you 💞.
