You need to check the live performance of Butter at The Grammys 2022 where one member was injured (at the time of performance) but then they innovate their production Vegas style with a (MI and Now You See Me type of production) in their dance break and whole production itself.

Live Grammy performance of this was the best performance of the night. Poor Jin had an injured hand but still slayed. And no j-hope almost gagged trying to do that ending scene😂 he made it work tho’ like the pro he is. There are a few different remixes of this, including one featuring Megan thee Stallion. They have a dance practice to that one that is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 with the 3J’s dancing to it (j-hope, Jimin, and Jung Kook)
Not to mention the Hotter Remix mv which is freakin hilarious. 😂

Grammy's are trash. Honestly they don't need the Grammy to prove how amazing and talented they are. Plenty of legendary artist who never won. The only reason I want it for then is because Yoongi wants it. The Scammy's are becoming more irrelevant every year

You all nailed one of the MANY reasons I am ARMY: the clean nature of their music.... They don't sing or rap about s*x, genitals, or violence so I can share 99% of their music with my young daughter. Even when they swear it's almost always in Korean so she doesn't pick up on it! There's only 3 BTS/solo songs I won't let her listen to out of a discography of 350+ songs
Bts Rm just released a collab song yesterday named Sexy nukim with a experimental rap group called Balming tiger. It is very different and experimental, more like underground, but shows well how far Bts members go in their journey to expand their musical palet.

This song has been on commercials, radio, at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for 10 weeks. their 3 English pop songs were very successful in the US and Globally.
Except I'm in the U.S. and I have not yet heard any of BTS' songs, not even the all-English ones.

I read somewhere that the song's lyrics could be an allegory for how they broke into the American music industry, smooth as butter, and stole attention. After that the song got even better for me, and it reinforces that belief, with the end of the video, them on stage in black and yellow suits, a nod to the Grammys that had nominated them the year before for Dynamite.
4:56 this is one reason BTS is so loved, they are so healing and make so many so happy! Just wait till you hear Home (Tonight Show during BTS week), or Anpanman (Citi Series)(they compare themselves to Anpanman a Japanese anime superhero who is made of bread and breaks pieces of himself off to feed people)
Also great point, so much of their music, even the seemingly light songs, are really ABOUT SOMETHING, they don't need to sing about sex or cliche topics. Butter one of the few they didn't write, except RM wrote the raps

Like pointed out in the end, that is what I love about BTS, they can have hit after hit, get everyone grooving or bobbing their heads but all without sexualizing everything, degrading women, etc. For most of kpop, I love that it’s fun, they’re cool hits, yet it’s still can be family friendly. I’m tried of songs that you have to cover kids’ ears. I’m from the gangster rap era, the difference then is the music videos didn’t play during kid times, you have to wait a late time slot to watch them, the songs weren’t widely played on the radio. Nowadays western mv are all sexualized and what would’ve been censored in our day is fair game now even for the kids.
Lots of respect to them to get noticed and successful without the shock and awe of T and A

Yes to any of their live performances of Butter, especially Grammy. They are all iconic. Grammy was especially insane. They couldn't practice properly because Jin earlier on broke his finger with the trick in choreo for this particular performance , then the other two members were self-isolating with covid. They literally had 24hrs before the performance to adjust and finish practice as a team. And as usual they absolutely rocked it! 💜💜💜🔥🔥🔥

Butter!!! I am sure many of my lovely BTSARMY would agree that BTS’ Grammy 2022 performance of Butter is a MASTERPIECE!!! Their performance always give me chills. But the Butter Grammy performance gave me ultra chills that I had to get into bad and lit the fireplace.
The reason the choreo has kisses on backs of hands throughout, starting with jk doing it at the beginning: JK has "ARMY" tattooed on his fingers below the knuckles
Check their song Permission To Dance live performance at BBC Channel as well as the MV. They performed it at the UNGA last year when they were invited to speak at UNGA. FYI, Permission To Dance was written by Ed Sheeram and was given to BTS as a gift.
