i love this channel. so many commanders i never see. the other cedh channels use the same 10 commanders over and over again and while it can be fun to see people practiced and in their element, it can get boring to see dockside, underworld breach, mana crypt and vault, all the 0 cost counter spells, and thassa’s oracle every single time
I only recently added all ring to my decks. Even though everyone in my pod used it, i didn't like how ubiquitous it was. But I started playing in LGS where it seems ppl only play cEDH, so... I felt I needed the boost. Conclusion: i don't like how it randomly allows one player to pull ahead so early BUT everyone plays it ...
For the sol ring question I think it dipends on the decks on the table. Are we playing high MV commanders? Are we playing Not so focused builds? Then I think Sol ring is fine. If we are all playing 3-4 MV commander with well built strategy (I'm m not talking about money or tier lists, just the cohesion and focus of the decks) the an argument to remove sol ring can be made
I think Sol Ring is still fair to play, because if you're the only one to drop it on turn one or two then the whole table has eyes on you. And it is affordable, so I don't see many players not having one in their deck. I only play budget - $50-$100, and largely so it isn't a money pit - and I think it makes the game way more interesting. Like someone else said, the same five or six cards and/or combos taking the game gets old fast.
@@jajahatman8842 Agreed, the benefit it gives you is way more than what any other easily accessible ramp card can give you, and although it's in everyone's deck, odds are most games only one person has it early which gives them an unfair advantage
@@RedViking007 yeah I hate it when people say “it’s fair if we all have it”, because stuff like tutors exist. That’s why I have a ‘no Sol Ring’ house rule to make games more balanced
Love budgeting restrictions to EDH!!! With power levels of EDH (CEDH) out of control more often than not, I find games quite boring on turn 1-2-3 wins. Simply put, unless I’m paying money to play, there is only one reason to play competitive decks… and that’s play testing(period) WITH the understanding from the table that testing is what is going on. I 100% understand people want to win… kind of a duh moment, BUT is that why YOU play non-competitive games? EDH/Commander WAS a casual format which emphasized fun game play, long games and just a plain old social experience. A LGS that I frequent has lost nearly two thirds of it’s pay to play regular players because players got tiered of seeing the same couple of decks win. Now I will ALWAYS play My best deck(s) when I pay to play, BUT the ramifications of this is that relatively new and new players don’t come back… even during open play or… just to have fun. When an LGS can’t even get a pod at a tournament, We have reached a very sad state!
Wow I'm sorry for lagrella with this list, bunch of 3 mana rocks (bant obelisk?!?!?) while playing green... 50 dollar budget but plays a agent of treachery.... budget decks doesn't mean bad decks, pls make a full power budget deck to really show the commander's power
Low budget decks matches are always more interesting IMO. Great video!

I love queza. As I soon as I saw her I was like "oh, peer into the abyss combo, nice."
So happy to see Cormela and Queza go off. They have quickly become some of my favourite commanders.
New logo is sick boys
Did not expect Sam to win after Matt slapped the other 2. Good game overall
the grixis deck looks sick AF! Wowzwers!
How smooth brain plays very smartly
That's was a great game.. everyone's decks look nice..keep up the good work , see u next time..
Insane game!! But the low key best part for me was 'enough' lol
You gotta love sheby
ope

I saw the thumbnail and thought it was a PDH game. Still a fun game to watch.
Exclude sol ring for budget. In general recently I can really see what a difference a sol ring makes in a game...
Whoever was piloting Mr. Orfeo totally missed dissing the others with "The Boulder's gonna bury all of you under a Rockalanche."

I would like to see a rematch high powered
I've also never played a spell slinger deck but Shelby's making it look pretty sick 🤔
try rielle, spellslinger plus you can still win with commander damage
Nah keep sol ring, it's in every precon deck and is the commander staple mana ramp.
Nah Sol Ring is overpowered, it’s the card which has ruined the most magic games

I've tried Mr. Orfeo in historic brawl and this card crashes faces. Fast Dreadhorde Butcher and Fling on turn 5-6 tax amazing!
Facehiggers don’t have eyes yet magically are able to run around and make great leaps at peoples faces?

Sol ring is cheap and makes the early turns less boring. It should go in any budget deck that can afford it.
imma say budget means no sol ring imo
You should exclude sol ring from budget lists
It's overpower in even competitive decks
Thumbs up to ban all positive mana rocks
Don't you feel...silly? Don't you feel...a little ashamed?
If Sol Ring was truly a problematic card then we would see more people using interaction to remove it from the table.
