Curious who is conducting. And….well….the video doesn’t always sync with the music. Rosin’s alto playing has always been so beautiful and accurate. In my college days (pre Lindbergh), it was wonderful to have fine performances of trombone works with full orchestra. I have all of the LPs from that era, but very few have made their way onto CD or streaming. It would be nice if all of Rosin’s Telefunken and Colosseum LP recordings were available on TH-cam. They deserve to be heard My college teacher poo-pooed his alto recordings, saying “oh, he’s using a trill valve”. I said “so what?” Use the tools available. He played a wonderful Thein alto with trill valve. I wish I had one. I DO have a vintage Laetzsch alto….a rarity and a real treasure here in the US. Most of my trombone friends are quite envious.
