My grandfather was a Grenadier. He taught my brother and I the ' ceremony of the keys". Thanks for this.

Black Sunday is a regimental day when serving and former Grenadier Guardsmen come together to pay tribute to those killed and injured. Not ot be confused with remembrance day which is always in November. RIP Ernest William Mayo (1889-1916) and Reginald Francis Mayo (1895-1916), brothers, 4th Battalion Grenadier Guards killed in action n France.

Very smart indeed. However, I'm confused. Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day in the UK, are both held in November - not May! So how can this be a Remembrance Parade, veterans or otherwise?
    Can you please explain?

@@stevenbowers4164 I've had a long history with military in war, but this is absolute news to me. I'm not knocking it by any means - in fact, I think it's a pretty marvellous act of respect to the regiment's fallen. Thank you for the enlightenment, and long may this act of commemoration and remembrance continue. Thank you again.

Dear, if you're going to be insulting.
      Learn the correct spelling .
      There is a place
They're is short for they are .
Hence, They are all trained savages
