Human Being in the Age of AI

  • The human animal is a social animal, in the truest sense of the words, more similar in our essence to ants, bees and termites than to any other creature. And like any social animal, we are pushed by our very nature towards The Hive, a meaning for our species where consciousness is outsourced, autonomy is abdicated, and discovery is denatured. In his keynote presentation at Epsilon Connect 2024, Ben Hunt shows how the technological push towards The Hive has never been stronger than here at the dawn of the Age of AI, but also how we can use those same tools of language, memory and story to reclaim our human society, our human dominion, and our human being.

In this lecture, Ben has successfully outlined the plot of "Indiana Jones and the Holy Grail"...Humanity has always been searching for God's name, but what really matters is the love you feel for your family.

Ben is facing his mortality and expressing quite beautifully. I hope he gets involved, as we all can, with @BrianRoemmele 's wisdom keeper and intelligence amplifier

The last bee i saw, i'd never seen one like it ever before this July 2024: grey, 'furry,' squared body, solo, working on a small sunflower. (...i'm 68. That bee was 'revery' : & awesomely unique & NEW. :)
    i took a photo, b/c it was at my 5'1" eye-level !
AI on YT must have directed me to find your Channel & talk here, b/c 'taoist,' at birth, & formally since 1978 & 2004 ! 😂

@@lotusalivelight24 Well maybe they are adapting. They are incredible and despite the climate catastrophe and 6th mass extinction event we are causing I do know that life will survive. I Would even bet that humans will too. We are incredibly resourceful and the odds are high even in the worst case scenario. Grey is good camouflage in urbanized areas.

Our human consciousness creates our material world. READ Owen Barfield- Saving the Appearances. U want to know what is really happening read him. FYI - our human superpower is our IMAGINATION. Children have greatest imagination- think about what education has done to our children last 20 years.

What a waste of my time. I used to be an ET subscriber, and that question was always lingering in back of my head - What the hell are you talking about? They were bees, ants, myths, history lessons.... gibberish disguised as an intellectual talk.

This presentation is a testimony of a painful delusion unfortunately. There is MUCH more beyond thought/word. Language/thought is sometimes a useful tool but is a very small thing but most often incoherent, dualistic, egotistical, temporal and contradictory. There is the whole Universe beyond all that, energy, and that's what we actually are, that's what actually exists beyond thought, there is no "entity"/me/consciousness/ego that is divided from this transformation of Energy that's called Universe/Life.
