That’s a sweet fly!! Really great way to tame deer hair!! Thanks for sharing!!
I like the process too. Doing the reverse deer hair is a little difficult but with a few under your belt we'll be able to handle it.
Great looking fly, and great tying instructions. Will tie some up this evening. Thanks a lot! 👍👍🎣
Your very welcome!
Great fly Jim, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching
Very nice. Going to tie some up and see how I like them.
I think you will
Thanks again Jim. Enjoy your videos. Wondered what your reaction would be if I told you I got creative and on a few I substituted peacock hurl in place of the dubbing. Just thought it would be fun to see how fish react to them: when our ice melts.
That will work for sure. Peacock has fish catching attributes like no other material.
Great looking fly! Do you need to use floatant on hair wing dry flies?
You can but in general No you don't. I think this one will be a good floating fly with or without floatant.
Nice fly. A bullet head caddis.
That's what I was thinking, Thunder Creek also comes to mind.
Nice
Thanks
Headed to South Central PA this next weekend. Going to be fishing the Yellow Breeches Creek and possibly the Letort. Any recommendations?
Dry flies will be small BWO and maybe some caddis. midges also.
May ty a few to try on the Boise River.
I'm sure they will work.
