I would love to see how you do the city stealth living as well. That would be some great videos too 😊🩵
I vote yes on the occasional city stealth camp video.
Thank you!! Seems like that’s something people would love to see so expect more in the future
Hey Nathanael, I've been really enjoying your latest series of videos. Hope you continue to have a creative and inspired 2024. A city stealth video sounds great!
Would love to see a full stealth camping video! Really cool stuff!!
Some questions for the next vid: how often do you have to move the car? What kind of places do you look for when parking the car? Have you gotten into trouble with the cops/neighbors? Where do you do laundry? Where do you use the bathroom at night/after waking up in the morning? Do you use the camping stoves in the city or is it too risky? Are there other people you know in Seattle that do this? How did you learn about this? How long have you been doing this for? What's the hardest part? What's the best part? And what's something (or several things) people would never think about?
Thank you so much! Those are some really amazing questions and I may do a bigger Q and A video to answer all of them. I have plans to do a full stealth camping video in the next few weeks to a month since there's a lot of interest and I'll make sure to answer at least a few of your questions there. Once again, thank you!!
Watching your video makes anyone want to go out into the mountains, so inspiring! 👊🏻
As always - love your work. As someone from the area, recognizing a lot of the places you show on camera, the way you present makes me appreciate my home more.
Thank you so much! We really are so lucky to call this place home
I absolutely love your videos 😊 Something therapeutic about them 🥰
I thank my friend Grayman Van-life for introducing me to your channel.
Many blessings Nathanael🤗🩵
Shout out from one TH-camr to another! Watching from Tri-Cities Washington keep up the great work! 🌲
The moment I could hear the rushing river and see the crisp, coolness of the snowy mountain forest, I immediately felt relaxed. 😌 Plus, my all time favorite meal of grilled cheese and tomato soup?!? Wow, that’s heaven to me… Thanks for sharing the experience with us! Safe travels! 🤟😊❤️🌈☮️
Love that!! I had the same feeling when I was driving out there 😌 I appreciate you watching!!
Sure I'd like to see you do city stealth camping. That's a fact of life in road life. Getting tips from you would be cool. Thanks.
Thank you!! I'll definitely make one and include some tips and tricks that I've learned since I've done it all over the west coast and never been bothered.
Seattle what a beautiful time to be here. Seattle summers are the very best . This is why so many campers and RV’s head this way. Have fun.
Ur 4-runner vids are awesome! Make more ! I’m thinking of buying a runner just to do this
Thank you!! Will definitely be making more and fully support getting a 4runner
loved this video! would love to see some more vlogs
Thank you!! Will definitely make more vlog style videos, I appreciate you watching.
Enjoy the relaxing vibe. You make Seattle look better than all the times I've gone. Either way love being a Washingtonian. I also thought I was the only one who uses Mayo for grilling sandwiches instead of butter.
Thank you!! Seattle has its flaws but it’s a lovely place imo
yes to stealth camping please! but you can definitely tell how much happier you are in the wilderness. love it.
Thank you! There's a lot of interest so I'll put it into my content schedule. And yes, the wilderness makes me sooo much happier, glad that came across on camera :)
Mayo is just oil and egg so it isn't too far fetch to use mayo for toasting. I use it too because of the tang it gives off.
for being in a city mostly, this was still so calming to watch! can't wait to see an adventure tho. also a lot of people put mayo on the grilled cheeses I think it's the secret
Thank you Jors 🥲 Adventure this week.
Also this is news to me lmao but I looked it up and I guess it is a thing hahaha
Mayo is emulsified oil, so in the chemical sense the oil is burnt to a crisp on the bread for crunchy texture
Yummy 😋 now I want some grilled cheese and tomato soup. You made my mouth water 🤤 😄
I live in an unincorporated area between Gig Harbor and Port Orchard. I’m in a travel trailer, my nice is in a shed, you are more than welcome to come park here. I often go to a few different coffee shops to work as I also work remotely but we also have WiFi which you are more than welcome to use. I used to live in a minivan. I’m Jordan
Thank you so much for the offer! I’m from out near Port Orchard as well.
Another great video Nathanael! I'm curious, how do you keep perishable food/drinks cold?
Thank you so much Chad!! Good question, I should really do a full tour of my setup. I actually have a 30 liter fridge in the back. It's what I make my coffee on when I'm inside the back of the 4Runner.
Hi! This is my first time stumbling across your videos. They are very calming, I enjoy them. I also just purchased a 4Runner to convert to live out of. Do ya have any tips for me, or just things you've learned (especially since being in the city)
Thank you so much for the kind words!! I’ll be making a video with tips here in the next month and that should help out a lot
“definitely does not live in a four runner” *proceeds to brush teeth in front seat* 😅 a true roadie
You should totally tint your windows!💯
Oh they are 😅 But I like the added privacy, at least while in the city. Plus it keeps the inside much warmer
Very nice!! I was at that exact spot this morning.... 😁
@NathanaelBillings Yes, the spot by the river . Love that area plus it's easy to get to.
Oh nice! Love that area too, it’s so close to the city but feels far away enough that I can satisfy my solitude fix
Absolutely, a city day in the life! I missed the philosophical voice over in this one. 😢. I do enjoy your introspection.
I’ll have to try the grilled cheese fix. I like mine on sourdough. Think they would work together?
Thanks, as usual, for a great little film. 😊
You inspired me to start camping! Do you use a heater in car camping in the winter?
Ahh that’s amazing!! No heater, just a good mattress and comforter combo and it kept me decently warm below zero
If you are ever interested in some of the amazing areas in the Kitsap peninsula I can show you. I take my Bronco to some pretty cool places with nice views
@@NathanaelBillings well feel free to reach out if you ever want to see some amazing places with someone or even better do the WA BDR which is amazing rn
Stealth camping video would be interesting.
Thank you! I’ll definitely look into making one, just gotta plan it out a bit. Is there anything in particular you’d want to see?
When you are in your vehicle camping, how do you wash your dishes? For example, your tomato soup bowl...can't imagine you would want dirty dishes inside your 4runner.
Good question; I typically just use water to wipe everything off really good and that seems to work well. Once a month I’ll use hot/boiling water to deep clean stuff.
I miss stealth camping
Sounds like some stealth camping is in your future! Super easy to just do it for a night
Mayo is just fat like butter so no difference to make grilled cheese. I use Kewpi mayo on my GC sandwiches. Thanks for sharing.
Haha that’s true and why I use it! Not sure where I got it from, maybe I saw it a long time ago and forgot. Didn’t know it was popular though! I should try kewpie mayo now
Wow, stealth camping in Seattle sounds like quite an adventure! We sent you an email, take a look.
What lights are you using inside when camping?
I’ve got them linked in my description! I think they’re called mpowered or something like that, highly recommend
I live in my 2022 4 runner. Climbing to the front seats is definitely not a graceful situation. 😂
Oh nice!! Love the 5th gen 4runner. Not graceful is putting it lightly LOL Probs my least favorite thing when in the city
@@NathanaelBillings I'm from Washington. Your brave doing this life in Seattle. Lol
4:30 hahaha "i made it to the front seat, now I'm just a regular person"
that's me every time I stealth camp lmao
LMAO glad you caught that. It's always so nerve racking and I'm an immensely private person so it's still an adjustment every time I wake up
