I absolutely adore this song! I've loved it since the first day i heard it ... I love how good deeds will go in full circle ... It happened to me last year and I'm still in uter shock and disbelief still ... I care for adults with special needs and i had been caring for an amazing lady and she ended up in the hospital and I was with her at the hospital and he brother had flew in from out of state to check on her (I can't go into to much detail because of hippa but she was older and so was he) he came in her room shook my hand and was thanking me for caring fir his sister.. I couldn't help but get a feeling i had known him ...we got to talking and turns out. My biological father and this man had been in battle together andhe was there when my father was even injured ... It blows my mind to think...they both were in battle together aand who knew .. years down the road ones daughter would be caring for the others sister 😍😍 it's an amazing feeling
I met the man who wrote this song at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville during a songwriters in the round session. Was awesome to hear is sung by the writer. Definitely recommend checking out the bluebird if your going to be in Nashville. Call ahead.. there is sometimes a several week wait to book a seat now. Used to be call a few hours before...

Also at the risk of stating the obvious a little, the song will have been written prior to filming the video and presumably when it came to making the video, there was no actual settled snow at that roadside location at the time, so they just had to carry on regardless as opposed to using a different location or different time when there might have been.

But I also noticed that there was no snow on the ground...they could have thrown some fake snow down....but being in Houston, it wouldn't have lasted long lol. He went far above what most people do he wa he went to the drunk, the single mom, he encouraged churches of all race's to combine churches. He said we will all get to heaven oneday if we believe, we might as well all get to know each other. Before he died he would say God sent him a vision, a church with everyone every race on earth would join togeather to worship God. Tears come up in my eyes as I think of his death, that little church was packed to capacity with people looking from the outside. With the most meek heart David Parker started a change through God that still ripples into this commity today. I say all of this because I was one of the people he helped. It's amazing what love can do. He always said dont correct a human in anger, but help them with love. MISS YOU ALWAYS DAVID PARKER.
People don't always want to listen, but there are a few stories of kindness that I Love to tell. Knowing that a teacher, police officer, co-worker cared enough to do something for me. Well, just the thought of those stories fills my heart. I sure hope I have given someone else a story.

One year for Christmas I got a card from one and inside she had given me $100 with a short letter thanking me for always being kind to her and her family. Another regular came through one day and could tell something was wrong. I gave him the short version about bills being due before the check was. He opened his wallet and handed me three hundred dollar bills. No strings attached except a hug next time he came by. I'll never forget them. Ever. Even though I haven't worked there in years, I still hope I run in to them just for a hello and a hug. I never do though. :(
