Kindness is FREE! That’s my motto & live by it. I’ve been blessed by people in front of me in a drive thru & bought my SBUX. I bought the car behind me order. I hope it kept going n
Years ago, a man got stuck in the mud near our farm. He had his heavily pregnant wife and his little boy in the car. It was cold and raining buckets. He walked up to our house to ask for help. My father had seen him coming and already started to the barn to hook up the mules. He pulled the guy out of the mud, and refused any payment. For years afterward, this man would mention this incident. He told me about it when I was in high school. I
Just saw you had reacted it to this . As I just found it myself . Was thinking about requesting it and found on your channel . Written by Rory Feek . Love love this song .Such a beautiful song .awesome reaction . Love your character I see you stopping to help someone like that .
Reminds me of a UCLA Coach John Wooden quote .."The true test of a man's character is what he does when no one is watching". Change a tire, pull a car out, leave a generous tip, be a good person. Thanks for playing this song Don.
There's a functioning drive in within 1 hr from my house however do to dumb descisions when i was younger I'm barred from the county for the next 5 yrs
Clay Walker is actually from Vidor, Tx where I went to elementary school and you reacted to him back in Aug. ('Fore she was Mama). Throughout the years, Clay has had some decent songs and some really good ones too, but he's definitely not Red Dirt. He started more neo-traditional and then kinda fell into sappy ballad pop country like most did in the 90's. He dipped into bro-country in the 2000's and now, I don't know what he is. His last couple of albums are really pretty bad...I think he got lost somewhere along the way. Here's a quote I dug up that explains alot: In January of 2014, Clay declared traditional country music was “dead,” and went on to say he wasn’t remorseful about that outcome. “I think it’s the perfect evolution and it’s the way it should be. It’s time. It’s time for that change.”
Really nice song, REALLY beautiful sentiment. If we all looked out for each other and did everyone a good turn when we can, imagine what a different place this world would be. Much love & support from Downunder Don.
I like to do something for those who least expect it, like the little old lady who sacked my groceries. You don't make a big deal about it, and palm it on your way out the door, with a nod when they notice!
Thanks Don for reacting.haha I'm 17 and I just live in the philippines. North Luzon. Not in the military by the way, no american friends yet too, though I'd love to Just a country fan for as long as I can remember.😁
Very honest and wonderful reaction. Not sure if you have done any reaction videos to any Randy Travis song , but if you haven't maybe consider doing a video for his song - " Point Of Light "
I had not heard this before. I really liked the story. I’m more of a Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt folk country fan. But this was a great message. Keep them coming.
Good song, Don. Great message we can all live by. As I got older and got kinder, I've had my kindness repaid many times over. Requesting Clint Black's "Killing Time". It's a song that I lived for a while till I got my mind right.
He's got a great song about talkin his buddy outta not cheating called "Then What" but he's one of the 90s Country heartthrobs along with Tracy Byrd ("Keeper of the stars" or " 10 rounds with Jose Cuervo" if interested) or John Michael Montgomery (which I think you've done if not " Life's a Dance")
To be honest I prefer to hear Rory Feek's version (he co-wrote this) it was first recorded by Charlie Pride and then Clay Walker, its one of those tunes you can't seem to get out of your head.... '
@Vicky Gehrke Glad you liked that, Vicky. I think we all have it in us to be thoughtful, and Clay showed a few ways that it helps lead the way just by doing nice things. Seems to be a good way to live, huh?
I always loved Clay Walker. He had several very good songs. This falls into a catagory of country I call Korny Country. I don't really mean that in a bad way. The song ,the story is solid wholesome life posative behaviors. It doesn't always come around full circle so quickly but I believe the kindness you show gets where it needs to go. Korny songs have always been a mainstay of country music. Good song.
Good evening sir My name is Sharlene and l just wanted you know know l love you and l love you reactions to songs. I was just wondering if you you would do a reaction to a Christmas song. @David Johnson I love that Wooden quote, and for years have shared it on occasion with others. Thanks for reminding me of it. :-)
This song should be re-released. If ever the world needed this message, it is now.

@David Emswiler Well Clay was wrong, and we're gonna continue to make sure it keeps going. Not sure why he'd even say that.
@@RockN2Country Yes sir! Donstradamus has spoken truth once again :-)
@David Emswiler LOL!! I'll see your Donstradamus, and raise you a DoctorDavus!!

Any of the songs would be good songs to react to!
Check out "Dreamin' With My Eyes Open". It's one of his classics from the '90s I grew up on.

I would like you to react to "Dreamer" by Steve Young (not the quarterback).
