YES ! Super useful add-on, a time saver. Thank you ! It is a shame that there is no way to ''highlight'' the word-search on Anki. It can be trivial to look for a particular sentence/word in a card when 20 cards appear on the search with a few lines on each of them. But othen than that, great add-on, will definitely install right away and nice video as always (=
Thanks! glad you like it :) You mean in terms of highlighting the search result in its context, right? If so, I'm actually working on a very similar add-on right now, commissioned by another user!
I'v been facing a problem for a while where I want to search multiple fields exclusively, ex: Desired search term: マイカ, Saved search: `Vocab:*{term}* Sentence:*{term}*` But as you can see I have to copy and paste the term in both of those spots to get the the search to work: Vocab:*マイカ* Sentence:*マイカ* . Is this use case something that you could support with the addon - search templating?
That sounds like a useful addition, but I think it would be better suited for a different add-on that modifies the anki.find module directly. That way you'd also be able to use your custom search terms when creating filtered decks.
Super useful thanks! One problem: The icons of the addon right next to the search bar are kinda overlapping, cause the search bar takes up too much space. Is there a way to make the search bar smaller?
Could you create a bug report on GitHub and please attach a screenshot of the issue? I wasn't able to reproduce it on Windows or Linux. Please also let me know which OS / version of Anki you're using. Here's the GitHub issue tracker: github.com/glutanimate/sticky-searches/issues
Cool! Very useful! Thanks a lot for this add-on, and for the detailed introduction.

Thanks!
Nice....Thanks for the upload.

That is exactly what I mean :D can't wait to see how it turns out ! That would be a real life-saver
using this in 2019! works great..waiting for support for anki 2.1
Thanks !
You're very welcome, Wesam!
quick question! what hotkey do you use to toggle the previous search browser history entries? th-cam.com/video/EK_9xQ2niGc/w-d-xo.html
Is there a version of this addon for Anki 2.1.4?
