The screen tech on gaming laptops is improving a lot. This with the mini led and the G14 with the oled and both with high refresh rates and hdr makes a huge difference.
Damn, I enjoy your reviews so much, whether I'm interested in the device or not.
The corners on the screen are rounded off, nice touch
I got it for the same price at $2966 plus tax. I got another 5% off because it arrive late. At that price she's a keeper. Great review btw!
How did you get it so cheap?
@@hart3113they had a sale I got it that price also. You have to get apps where they show sales on stuff
Nice review, Shawn. Point of correction the ram is not soldered on the motherboard. The ram is on the other side of the motherboard, just below your keyboard. I have this exact model, but mine came with RTX 4090 + i9 14900hx and 64gb of ram. I maxed everything out because you have to go through the motherboard to upgrade the ram. I Don't feel comfortable doing that. Powerful beast this is.
Is it worth buying? Or should i get the 7i?
@@hart3113 Worth every penny mate. You'll be blown away.
@@hart3113worth it man I love mine
@@godiananyanwu5894do you have the option to add accidental now that you have the laptop they took my option away once I got it
@@godiananyanwu5894 sir, could you please share your personal opinion of what do you think about the thermals, fans, and noise ? am looking for the advice of normal user, thank you for your time!

What's the best way to get the stickers off
Can you test the llano cooling pad on it?
Pause. No diddy. Lmao, you got a subscriber
No you can upgrade the ram to 128
I got it for 3,200 also on that sale and they sold out quick
Well I'd probably rather have this over a used car HAHA

You already knows the Apple Silicon is the best :-) but nice Video :-)
What kind of external display do you recommend to use with this laptop
That’s a tough question. lol. While I like to have my display match the laptop, Lenovo doesn’t have any “appetizing” monitors. In this case I’d probably go with one of the Alienware or LG QD OLED monitors. Expensive, but if I paid this much for a laptop, I want to make sure I get the best experience if I’m not using the main display.
@@ProTechShawndid you keep the laptop and because of the way the fans and board is upside down there is no cooling pad for it
Bro, about the speakers being trash on most windows laptop. It was true until I tried the asus g14 2024, that thing is on par with my MacBook pro 14.
I agree. I reviewed that one last month and loved it.
Si lo quieres para juegos la mayoría se compra audífonos etc.
Ram isn't soldered
Like the Alienware laptops from years ago, if I have to disassemble the laptop and flip the motherboard to get to it, it’s considered soldiered because they don’t intend for me to swap it out.
@@ProTechShawnpero no está soldada, solo es un poco complicado acceder.
