If you want to be a registered nurse in NZ you need to have 4 years of experience as a overseas Registered nurse. Then along with 4 years of RN experience you need either 7 each in IELTS or b grade in each four modules of OET. Then you can directly come on CAP course of two months and after finishing the course once you will get the job you can apply for residency as RN earn minimum 28.50$ per hour in NZ which is more than the pay rate required for residency.

Also, can I work in Mental health service as an EN in NZ? or only RN was required in Psychiatric hospital? Because i’m an Psychiatric Enrolled nurse in HK. I want to do the job related to my specialty. thanks!

In This programme person from any background can do this masters which will lead to registration and you can become registrated nurse after two years. Yes nursing in the uk is pitifully underpaid. New Zealand however is a longway from close family and friends.
