    Hi Chris,
    I would like to ask if it's possible to study nursing in NZ but my degree in PH is Business Administration? I want to have a change of career path as I realized BA is not actually for me.
    1. Will I be able to use a bridging course coming from a BA gradute to Nursing?
    2. Or is it better to start doing Certificate in Nusing or Bachelor's degree in Nursing?
    Thanks

      Hannah Tadeo Hi Hannah. We went into strict lockdown in March for 6 weeks but after that, we got to 0 cases and went back to normal. All the cases now are in isolation facilities, so as nurses it’s back to normal

      Hi. You need work experience first. After that, you can apply to work here. You just need to do the bridging course which is 6-8 weeks. 😊

    Hi sis I am planning to choose new Zealand for bachelor in nursing. What is the tuition fee in college ? We have to pay yearly or semester?
    Waiting for your reply

    • @ChrisQuimbo
      @ChrisQuimbo  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Neha. It will be different for each school. You can google the schools like Whitereia or Otago Polytechnic, they offer nursing courses and email them a query. Because the fee will be much more expensive for international students. I did the 2 month bridging course, which means I already had my degree in Philippines and I just needed to transfer my registration. Hope this helps.

    Wow that pay is LOW compared to cost-of-living. When will countries value nurses? As a RN, You’ll be living in a box eating bread and water while being on the frontlines doing the most undesirable duties (wiping ass, wound care, etc) to people in their most undesirable state (confused, angry, dying, demented, depressed) to be exposed to the most undesirable heath-altering contractions (mutagenic formalin, blood borne pathogens, emerging contagious diseases like Ebola, Covid, MDRO TB). No thank you. Nice country-just pay the people who will take care of your hospice care. Afterall, you can’t take moneybags with you to where you’re going after this life. It’s no wonder nursing is a desirable employment quality for NZ; you may actually not like that because the country must outsource to foreigners because it does not pay their nurses enough for cost of living.
