Scott, Kirstie and Mitch in the back have been singing together since high school. I swear they are so in tuned into each other that they don’t even have to think about it anymore.
PTX is the kind of group that will take you to the club in one song and to church in the next. Perfect examples: 90s Dance Medley and then Amazing Grace or The Prayer…all of which I hope you get to 😊

Let me introduce them to you, Kiki. From the back, left to right. Mitch (counter tenor singer), Scott (baritone), Kirstie which rhymes with thirsty (mezzo soprano). In the front there is Avi on the left who is the bass and next to him is Kevin who is the beat boxer. When Kevin sings he sings tenor - high baritone. I get goose bumps, too, when I hear them. They will wreck you for any other acapella music! I know they wrecked me! I just don't feel the things I feel when listening to anyone else! These talented humans are the real deal! Pentatonix did a couple of Popspring mini-concerts, but the 2016 Popspring recording is exceptional in sound and video quality. You should also check out Homefree's cover of the Boyz ll Men song End of the Road for some more great a Capella.

Subscribed at the first "mixed vegetable" reaction. I love it. You hit it big with this group. At the beginning of this video you said thank you for getting me to 1000 subscribers and I looked before I started and you are close to 3000 subscribers. That is the magic of Pentatonix. At some point you will be asked to do Aha! from the star vista Singapore. Please make a mental it now that KEVIN IS THERE. He invented celloboxing which is playing cello and beatboxing at the same time. The reason he isn't on stage while they are doing the choral interlude is bc he is putting his cello away from his celloboxing solo. I'm sorry but I am so sick of yelling at my phone KEVIN IS THERE, that I'm trying to catch all new reactors to tell them this. One other thing, if you do the popsprings concert, please know that there are 3 original songs that they wrote along with evolution of Michael Jackson. The original songs are cracked written by Scott, can't sleep love, and water written by Kirstin. I love how much you love them and all of the other pentaholic can see that too. Oh one more thing, Mitch and Scott started a group called superfruit and they did an evolution of Beyonce. Someone may have told you this already but she posted it on her page with the caption, "Mitch and Scott are FLAWLESS." They were rehearsing something from PTX when Kirstin came in to show it to them. Even if it’s not Christmas please try out “Mary Did You Know” and “Oh Come All Ye Faithful” last song has a Caribbean/African rhythm. The beat boxer Keven Olusola’s father is Nigerian and his mother comes from Grenada. He is a miracle playing several instruments, was studying pre-med in college before joining Pentatonix, played the sax at Carnige Hall when he was a teen, plays cello (while beat boxing!), can speak Mandarin Chinese…. And probably has many other talents!😲🥰

Iam a Pentatonix fan a hard core one and I can't believe I haven't heard this one. They did great But No one is going to be as Good as Michael Jackson. Such a waste. I miss the man.

I don't think they learned their talents. I think they were taught a few things but I think people like this are mostly born with it. I am glad they were born with it and the God of the universe allowed them to find each other to bless us. The odds of this ever happening again in our life times is infinitesimally small. They do their 'couch' evolutions, and medleys in one take. They do it a few times and pick the best one to post. There is little to no studio mixing. If you want goosebumps listen to Imagine, The Prayer, Amazing Grace, Hallelujah, O Come All Ye Faithful, and many others.
Nah, they were born with the potential but these people worked darn hard for their craft. For decades, many hours a day. I get what you mean but I don't like minimizing the actual hard work and determination something like this takes to pull off. Especially not in a healthy way to be able to keep up their voices this long with the schedule they've held.
