Kevin also beatboxes, plays cello at the same time, and speaks Mandarin. They're all supremely talented. Their mashups are good. Matt replaced Avi a few years ago and the group is just as awesome. I know it's "past the season" but you DEFINITELY need to check out two videos that really showcase their talent: Over the River, and The Prayer. Both are nominally "Christmas songs" but the visuals in both are phenomenal. "Over the River" gets your blood pumping, and I think "The Prayer" is their best song cover, yet.

Just a note on Avi's voice... he isn't the baritone. The tall blond fella in the centre (Scott) is the baritone. Avi is the bass, which is lower than the baritone.. In fact, Avi sings in the lowest of the bass ranges, which is technically known as a "basso profundo." In the early years before they brought their own sub-woofers with them, Avi used to blow out speakers with his low notes. Have you listened to any of his solo work? You will probably enjoy "Change on the Rise." Great reaction!
What’s great about their evolution videos is that it’s one take and live vocals (versus a professionally produced video where they lip sync to the track they recorded in studio).
Hey guys! Glad you enjoyed this awesome mash-up. They do any of these "Evolution" mash-ups in one take. They generally do four complete run throughs and then decide which one they want to use. There is a documentary of how they work together to create their stuff. It's a 20 minute video called The Recording of Evergreen. Evergreen is their album that was just nominated for their 4th Grammy. It's quite an eye-opening look at how they all have input into their songs and parts, how they create their unique sound. I'd love for you to put it up and watch it.
I'm sure Ptx have loooots of time for random acapella offs... Right in between their grammy red carpet, hollywood star of fame and their world tour... Haha, nah just sassing you a bit. Their medleys are just amazing. They are so good at transitions.
The only member change in their eleven years is the bass singer. Avi, in this video, was the bass from 2011 through 2017. Matt is their bass since then. The rest of them are original members. Recommend their My Favorite Things.

You should react ot their popspring live performance / It has three originals and the Michaeal Jackson evoultion. It fifteen miuntes long. It wonderful1 also the did their 90's dance medley live at the Hollywood Bowl in2022. Miles reuben has it on his channel.
