My favorite video so far. This is the exact Sir Pizza that I visit each year when I go home for Christmas. My Mom lives about two miles from here, so we usually stop and grab the lunch buffet while we finish our shopping. I absolutely love Sir Pizza. This one is always dark and the service can be be great or it can be terrible. And the pizza can also be really tasty or terrible. I don't care. It is familiar and brings back fond memories of childhood. And since I only go there during Christmastime I am feeling nostalgic anyway. As a little kid, it was a tradition for my Dad to take my brother and I to Sir Pizza on his custody weekends (divorced parents) in the 1970s. The one we went to (Madison, TN) had a basement room called the Troll's Cave, complete with paper mache walls painted like a cave and a dumb-waiter that lowered your pizza downstairs from the kitchen above. They showed old black and white movies on a movie screen in the corner. As an eight year old, this was the most mind-blowingly cool thing ever.
I love the criss-cross cut. I love the tiny diced pepperoni. I love the pre-cooked generic crust. I love the overly-sweet sauce. It is by no means great pizza, but to me, it is a sort of nostalgic icon.
You do not live in Murfreesboro and if you did you would know that Sir Pizza is a very popular pizza place. The square pieces are a signature thing at Sir Pizza. And that women you talked about is a mother a daughter and a wife who is truly loved. That waiter your talking about is my mother and because of what y'all said it ruined her day. You don't say that her face would break the camera and that she would bite it like a bulldog. You do not know her and you don't know how little things like that can really hurt somebody. If I was you don't judge other people without looking at yourself before hand. Saying things like that about people is cruel. You don't know if she was ever made fun in her life time. That kinda stuff really hurts people. Its okay that y'all didn't like the pizza but don't talk about people. Also y'all didn't show yalls whole meal. Y'all edited stuff and only showed the good stuff. The waiter might of made faces but I know for a fact she was nice to y'all and made small talk because she knew that making faces wasnt right. I advice you to watch what you say about people next time.

Jack, a suggestion, do be careful with your reviews, as a fan and native Californian...you aren't in SoCal anymore and your candor might not be taken as casually as it was here. Saying 'don't ever come here' isn't the best form/speak, you can be more gracious and simply say the food wasn't good, you wouldn't go again. Your anger level on youtube isn't necessary, a pizza bad or good isn't the end of the world. I'm a huge fan, but did not like your tone at all, get some sleep it was a long trip. why can't he say what he really thinks? If a place is gross, I'm sure he isn't the only one criticizing it and I'm sure this isn't the only time they have heard or read someone's opinion on the place. I thought it looked disgusting and am glad to know how it tastes.

Ok, I'm going to say what everyone else is either intentionally avoiding or is afraid to speak up about. These places in the south are hit and miss when it comes to anything other than BBQ. Even the ones that don't suck are ok at best. Also, the customer service is crappy if the employees know you are from out of town and don't fit the profile of a good ol' white boy who goes to church and likes to hunt and fish. It's just the way their culture is. How do I know this, because I used to live in Conway, Arkansas for a few months out of the year during my adolescence. This is why the woman was probably giving Paul the stink eye
Anthony Delamont Middle Tennessee is also the same place where all the white racists came out to protest and the county spent over $300,000 trying to block the mosque that was going to be built in Murfreesboro. So who is narrow minded and stupid?
Not the best pizza, but $2 Tuesdays is a bargain Jack you have to admit.
They probably scrape all the toppings off the pizza people didn't eat and save it for $2.00 Tuesdays.

Sir Pizza is my favorite. The sauce, the cheese, how they crumble the sausage and pepperoni...there's nothing like it. At the same time, I love Lou Malnatti's deep dish Chicago pizza and BBQ pizza from Colleta's in Memphis, as well as my local pizza pubs like Fairvue Pizza. But Sir Pizza will always be my favorite even though it is admittedly overpriced.
Please bring Paul back on the show. Or atleast do a meet up with him (bring Edgar too if you can).

One of the best pizza's ever. I lived in Nashville for eight years and Murfreesboro for eight and a half years and I never heard of anyone who didn't like Sir pizza. I no longer live in Tennessee, and think about and miss Sir Pizza.

Bewildered by a square cut pizza but probably haven’t experienced the greatness of a pizza from a chain in rural areas called Pizza King.
If you live in the southeast Sir Pizza is very common growing up in Lexington, KY I loved going to this place as kid.

Live in Murfreesboro for six years and never stepped foot into Sir Pizza. The place just looked sketchy to me. I love CiCi's Pizza Mac and cheese pizza. Now that's good! I do want to recommend coming to Smyrna. Just north of Murfreesboro. We have quite a few local joints here. If you like authentic Italian dishes go to La Tavola Ristorante off Front Street. Small joint but good. Also try Salvo's Pizza close to the Smyrna exit.

Jack On The Go Show Also Off Elm Hill Pike in Nashville there is Joey's Pizza. New York pizza at its finest. The workers are awesome and have thick new york accents. Our family loves pizza. Haha

If it was supposed to be "thin crust pizza" that's the reason why it was cut into squares like that. I personally do not specifically order thin crust pizza, nor like it cut that way, just explaining that it does happen in other places. More than likely they got the dough frozen (or even the whole pizza), baked it, and slapped it onto a pan and cut it. I can't help to shake my head at the idea of that being $17, not only due to the fact that it was horrible, but the fact that you ordered a small according to you.

sure. Greasy pizza. No flavor. There was an FDA violation on this place having dead rats in the kitchen. I didn't know this before we filmed. One of my viewer's posted a link below.

Have no idea about the flavor of that pizza, but I always get my pizza cut into squares. It's called pub style in Wisconsin. That way you can eat a center piece which doesn't have a lot of crust. Just trying to lessen the carbs. Not that pizza is a healthy food!
I guess it doesn't quite compare to the english muffin pizzas that Jack makes.

Ok so I watched your video/review on Buster's and you really convinced my husband and I to check it out :) We then started looking at your other videos and I said "Oh no, if they went to Sir Pizza and liked it I can't trust their judgement" lol. We were cracking up because this was our exact reaction when we went there. We do not understand why so many in this town love this place and they have multiple locations!? I kind of liked the dim atmosphere there and the waitresses. The pizza probably needed a bit more seasoning and it looked very tasty.

I lived in Murfreesboro for years and I knew this place was close to me, but I never did eat from there. It looked like greasy, overpriced pizza to me and there were better options around

Brandon, Sir Pizza actually was voted #1 pizza place by the viewers of Murfreesboro.com. Why, I have no clue. I can think of so many other place that are leap years above them. I've been to Millers several times. Great place and some of the best Catfish I've ever had.
Paul Dillon YES !! Millers has the best catfish !! Their fried green tomatoes are the best as well !! I'm not sure how Sir Pizza was voted number one. In my opinion La Bella on South Church St. is loads better and way cheaper !!

There's this great barbeque place in Tennessee called Jack's barbeque that a few friends and I went to on our way down to New Orleans a few years back I'm not sure where in Tennessee it was all I remember was the great barbeque! I would love to see you try it out it has a statue of a pig outside the restaurant it should be easy to find!

I tried Sir pizza one time when I lived in Nashville in the 90's and I thought it was the worst pizza I ever tasted then and my dad told me they served beer there but I had mine to go!

There's two types of Pizza Kings in Indiana. There's Pizza King and then there's Original Pizza King. You'll know the difference as "Original Pizza King" features the model train motif, the logo is a king wearing his crown and eating a slice of pizza, and the slogan is "The proof is in the taste." Pizza King and Sir Pizza are pretty much one in the same. They have the same Feasts pizzas and the slogan "Good to the very edge". All feature the same square-cut pizza with diced toppings to cover every inch of the pizza with no gaps. All are equally delicious. Not sure if this is Jack's California sensibilities kicking in or what, but both my wife and I were appalled at how he reviewed this. Your pizza contained diced meats....how could you NOT expect grease. Perhaps next time don't order a pizza loaded with meat. And as for the review itself....I'd be looking sketchy at you too if I overheard you too badmouthing my restaurant like that. And the gall to do it outside the doors, no less. Don't be surprised if someone comes at you with a knife the next time you do that, is all I'm saying.

That looked like the worst pizza I have ever seen and I've eaten pizza from multiple states and businesses along the East Coast. I would of rather had a DiGiorno's pizza instead. Better cardboard, better pizza. DiGiorno. Also, the sausages did look like rabbit or rat turds. Probably a mix of both for that extra kick.
