We have had trouble with the older Mac's, and older Echo's being able to run the R plugs. On the newer EPA ignitions no problem. Thank you Richard, I learned something from you today!

Great Video, Rich! Arccaptain wants to invite you to test our TIG200P welder machine. Would you be interested in giving it a try?

Spark plugs - if in doubt, I replace them. On most of my Stihl saws I use Bosch WSR6F at .020 or NGK BPMR7A. Some saws use Champion CJ7Y, but these are older saws. I like Bosch because they can get wet multiple times with gas and still work. NGK plugs are not as tolerant of getting wet with gas multiple times. Those of us that own Stihl saws know how often we accidentally flood them. With Bosch plugs I very seldom have to replace spark plugs, which is why I use them. On the smaller plugs used in newer Strato saws I use the Bosch USR7AC or NGK CMR6H.

If your running Castor (benol or blendsall)or anything with a percentage of Castor (techniplate) the plug will get carbon no matter how hot of a plug you run. Not to many people use castor based premix anymore though.
