Thanks so much for this multi part rebuild. I'm rebuilding my evo next winter, and u r the best at showing how to do something, in my humble opinion.
Thank you for those kind words. I hope to keep getting better at the video stuff. Still have some bugs to work out on my GoPro. Thanks again.
I enjoyed watching all three vids. Learnt a few things. Sounds so much better
Thanks for watching all three and for commenting!
Absolutely interesting film to complete this series of the Evo upgrade and thank you for sharing your skills and knowledge 👍
Thank you for your support and your kind words!
Great job!

Thanks for your advice on my ignition on the Sporty, runs great my friend 👍🍺
That’s great to hear!
can't wait for a Sporty video :)
Hopefully once will roll in here soon.
@@butlercustoms man, I would love it to be mine
Thanks!
Very kind of you! I’ll put it towards a newer GoPro!
Thanks
My pleasure
i'm not a Harley rider, more into old British machines. but that was a very educational series.. maybe get a Harley one of these days. Thanks for the great content, Scotty

Where you been? I've been sitting around like a hungry dog. 😁
Sorry about that. It’s been a couple of weeks. Had to wait on parts and such. But I’m back on track now. Will be posting again this week on a Harley revival and getting my son’s Yamaha road ready, a Honda VF1100 rebuild, a no start issue on a Harley softail, and a fat boy with a wiring problem. So lots more to come! Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@butlercustoms sounds like you have your hands full. If you don't mind me asking, where ya from?

# 3 fender a little shorter . Seat the time traveler pattern
Thanks for the suggestion. Most said to use the short black one. But we will see what everyone wants. Thanks.
Wow man. I just discovered your channel. I recognized the paint on the tin work of your bike in the thumbnail, sinister blue pearl. Just because of the color I knew it was a 1998. Are you aware of the historical significance of that paint color, within the harley realm ?
Some how I ended up with 2 bikes that are that color. In roughly 20 years i have only ever seen 1 other bike with that color.
That’s awesome. I didn’t know that paint was unique. It sure is a pretty color. I’ve got two other evos in the shop with almost that same color. One of them is in my latest video. Not sure if it’s the sinister blue pearl or not. thanks for watching and commenting. I’ll have to look up that paint and see if I can get the code. It would look good on an old truck.
funny. i have 2 bikes both 20 years old. first a 2 stroke 250 that runs 12 seconds at 100 mph 1/4 mile. the 2nd a 400cc inline 4 that runs 12 flat at 110 mph 1/4 mile. after all this money and time will this/your bike do anywhere close to that?
I don’t think this customer was doing these upgrades to race or boast. He just wanted a nicer sound and some new parts. Thanks for commenting.
Hey bud, what kinda cylinders did you end using and who makes em? Thanks
V Twin makes them. It’s the 83” kit that comes with the Wiseco pistons. The cam is an Andrew’s V51 and the lifters are Fueling HP+
