Most beggars in Thailand come from neighboring countries. They have a harder time finding work than locals, so they have to beg. But they have more money than you think. However, if you are comfortable doing it, then it's okay 🙂

Im sure there’s all sorts of legal issues with that as well as personal issues, on both sides haha. I want to help them as much as I can. But that is a step too far. We already have life changing money and I’m sure we can raise more together
Basic education is free in Thailand for the first 12 years, including the first three years of preschool (total of 15 years). It is guaranteed by the Thai constitution. Problem is only children that are legally "belong" here are entitled to free education. People's party (the opposition) is trying to change this law since Thailand employs tremendous numbers of foreign labors. If they are successful then some of these children will be able to go to school.
@@charttigerth Sure, but there are also things like clothes, equipment, transport etc etc There are many barriers to it, rather than it just being available. Equally, we all want more than basic education for our kids. We want to give them the best possible, especially if they have a talent or huge potential. Who knows, with support, she could be the one to pull her family out of this situation. Why not aspire and help that to happen.
The mum sells bits and bobs to make money, as seen in the video. She doesn’t sit begging. Sadly, it’s not as easy as “just looking for a job” in many cases. I wish it was that simple

Sure, everything is complex and difficult for them! I am not worried about if they are Thai or not, they are humans and I want to help them. They aren't there because they want to be there, let's say that.
Article 68 of Cambodias Constitution states that the Government shall provide free primary and secondary education for all citizens and each individual shall pursue basic education for at least 9 years. Also primary school has an official entry age of 6. Dont understand why need to donate thousands for something that is free. If they dont go to school its bcoz the mother dont let them go. So you better have a serious talk with the mother.
they are not of school age yet! if you watched the video, they can go in 10 months! they are homeless! the are poor, they need help. instead of writing on your phone or laptop which costs more than they have ever seen trying ti criticise, why don't you help try and make someone else's life better? The money raised can go to housing, better life, better schooling, clothing. focus your energy on positivity not negativity.
