This is good to know. I was doubly cursed in that department. Got chicken pox at age 9. Then, 2 years later, I got the other kind at a birthday party and was caught off guard when an older man kissed me. I don't remember the exact details because there was so much going on at the party. Herpes zoster is no joke. I had when I was 23, and did realize until I had rash for a while. Thought I was too young to get it. While having the virus itself is horrible, the nerve pain is worse, it flares up when you stressed, angered, and sad, it lasted for years. If you’re able to, I’d recommend getting the shingles vaccine. Unfortunately because I’m so when I had it, and can’t get the vaccine yet I can still get it again. 👎🥴😡

This is good to know. I was doubly cursed in that department. Got chicken pox at age 9. Then, 2 years later, I got the other kind at a birthday party and was caught off guard when an older man kissed me. I don't remember the exact details because there was so much going on at the party. Herpes zoster is no joke. I had when I was 23, and did realize until I had rash for a while. Thought I was too young to get it. While having the virus itself is horrible, the nerve pain is worse, it flares up when you stressed, angered, and sad, it lasted for years. If you’re able to, I’d recommend getting the shingles vaccine. Unfortunately because I’m so when I had it, and can’t get the vaccine yet I can still get it again. 👎🥴😡
