- I love this movie, i recommend it!! Just don't really like the end, but I don't mind.
Recorded some quotes and other things of Nicolages Cage/Yuri Orlov
Hope you like it, comment and rate (dutch subs, sorry if you' aren't dutch :p)
"Thank you, but I prefer it my way."
+Simon T.
LOL! That was a classic line!
+magellanmax The original script had a scene where Bapiste Sr. hears Yuri say, "They are making me part of a hunt for a witch" (or something like that) and he says, "I think you mean 'witch hunt'."
He then says, "Thank you, but I prefer it my way."
@JohnACorp782 esp with that whole cannibal angle
and it´s not a metaphor
@JohnACorp782 you mean King of Burger?
This is totally incomplete without the "necessary evil" speech he gave the detective at the end about being released even though he had him caught. "Soon there'll be a knock on that door..."
"The AK47 or Kalashnikov, it's the worlds most popular assault rifle - a weapon all fighters love. An elegantly simple 9 pound amalgamation of forged steel and plywood it doesn't break, jam, or overheat. It will shoot whether it's covered in mud, or filled with sand it's so easy even a child can use it, and they do"
You forgot the "most exported Russian product in the world than Vodka... .." part
*proceeds to break when dirt gets in the chamber*

@@garciamckenis8135 So simple and all the more effective
To be honest I think Lord of War sounds more badass than Warlord.
Lord of Warlords
There are many warlords, but there can only be one lord of war

@@eduardocarreratiznado2893 ah, just the perfect phrase to explain this

How Nicolas Cage didn't get an oscar for this movie I will never understand
Cause he cant act for shit. A oscar for cage really? 😂
@@thekameleon9785 and who the fuck are you to criticize an great actor like Nicolas Cage
@@thekameleon9785 What are you talking about? Cage is one of the greatest actors of all time. There's a reason he keeps getting work in Hollywood, which is good for him considering all the bad financial investments...
He really shines in this movie.
That was good acting on his part it is probably harder for him to not act wild than just go crazy on cue. He deserved his Oscar for Leaving Las Vegas though. This movie makes him seem as if he could have been great in sales too if he wanted.
There are too many memorable quotes in this movie to cram into one clip... pun intended.
10 Rounds Per clip almost 10 to 20 Fine quotes per section of this film so pun Is indefinitely Good
This is actually a movie that fits with the casting of Nicholas cage.
My fav quote from this movie is
'People say, "Evil prevails when good men fail to act" What they ought to say is "Evil prevails" . '
I agree
A nice touch at the end is that at the crossroads Yuri turns left. Crossroads traditionally symbolise the choice between good and evil; turning right or turning left. By the end he doesn’t even think about it.
How sinister
"Some of the most successful relationships are based on lies and deceit. Since that's where they usually end up anyway, it's a logical place to start."
"You are to return to Wakanda to answer for your crimes."
"Thank you but I prefer it my way."
THIS is the the one move where Cage was the PERFECT cast.
This and Con Air.
and that movie where he switches faces cant remember the name.

Matchstick Men?? Come on
Andre was educated in America so I bet he understands what he was saying and the words he twisted does make it seem more menacing.
Like, bloodbath just means chaos but for that boy brigade scene, his term "bath of blood" meant that these boys have to kill to taste blood and its a rite of passage for them to become a true warrior thru "the bath of blood" from their enemies.
Also, warlord just meant that you're a small general, fighting in a struggling situation in a battle for your own beliefs but when you become the "Lord of War", you're like a king controlling all the war. Now that, that is totally different and more menacing.
'Seeing as most relationships end up built on lies, it seems a logical place to start' Very wise words
"You can't force someone to fall in love with you, but you can definitely improve the odds" xD
"it's not God of War, it's Wargod"
"Thank you, but i prefer it my way"
Sony: "Ok"

the sentence "a bullet from a 14 year old is just as effective as one from a 40 year old, if not more effective"
For being an absolute sociopath, the Lord of War is an honestly wise man.
Especially his quote about how arms dealers will inherit the earth.
When all the soldiers have perished, when all the ammunition is spent, who truly profits from it but the people who sold those munitions?
Wars will always be fought, regardless of what weapons are used. This man just doesn't feel bad about making sure the weapons are efficient.
I don’t think he’s an absolute sociopath
He’s a businessman. He is trying to make money just like any other business.
@@hawk66100 but then, some dealers get to choose their dictators. degenerates that they can control. they'd stay away from the ones with principles, because that just muddies the waters.
I prefer Jesus’ quote, “The meek will inherit the earth.” Note that he doesn’t ask, “If that’s okay with the rest of you people.” He doesn’t need to ask because he knows that he will have destroyed everyone else prior to the meek being in the position of being the only ones left.
"Thank you, but i prefer it my way" 🤣🤣🤣
They did a good job of writing them as brothers. They didn't put some emotional cliche spin on it. He just brings his brother in the business

One of the greatest movies ever made. Grew up watching Cage movies. He’s my favourite actor by far.
Imagine the amount of soldiers fighting that it would take to completely cover the roads of a village with spent brass
Het beste vind ik nog het gesprek tussen hem en zijn broer. Bedankt voor het op youtube zetten, was al een tijdje naar dit op zoek en eindelijk gevonden :)
This movie hits all the levels. I love this movie!
@claudine jimdar-rowe damn you fine
That last quote is the best one. That one really hits home.
This movie was actually quite good & surprisingly he did well too
"Never go to war, especially against yourself".

Cage made this into a masterpiece!
An AK will absolutely not shoot when covered in dirt or sand, but it will shoot when frozen.
"I prefer it my way"
Basically translates to, don't ever correct me again.
AK47s made of forged steel? Pretty sure it was all stamped.
It was hot stamped so could technically be called forged
the model 1947 (AK-47) had a milled solid receiver... stamped AK (or AKM) came later, and uses rivets. technically 99% of ak47s you see are the AKM model, the AK-47 is the "OG" milled original model from the late 40's. the one in this scene has no rivets, and that giant square groove (1:05) below the charging handle are only on milled receivers.. tests have shown that the stamped lasts just as long as the milled. but technically the milled is more solid. i personally prefer stamped. i think the rivets look good :)
Nah the early ones were milled
Thank you, but he prefers it his way
It milled!
So, you're Cage of Nicolas
It's not Cage of Nicolas, it's Nicolas Cage
Thank you, but I prefer it my way.
"A bullet from a 14 year old is just as effective from a 40 year old...often more effective"

Yuri has some balls to correct a warlord like him. Also, the AK isnt nearly as reliable as the mythos is says it is. It's good, but it's not so good that its indestructible.

It's REALLY good. If you take a decent care of it overall, the rifle will almost never jam - but the mag will sometimes not feed it!
In contrast, what assault rifle is more reliable than the AK-47?
One of the few guns that you can drop in w bucket of water or super thick mud and still have it fire with no cleaninb
When I was in the Marine Corps we had a chance to fire a few. And though ease and dependability are there with the AK-47, accuracy is not.
@@artdeco64 It's no secret, my old man had the no stock no barrel type back in the USSR, after a few magazines the fired bullets would start falling right in front of you.
