I'm kinda liking this revamp tbh, it makes novaria feels more ethereal and unique in a sense. She now seems to be more inclined to the support side then before

She's more than a roam damage support now, pretty useful in poking in a long distance, giving 50% hitbox of all hero and then Vision, pretty useful clearing skill (1st skill)

@Kari Legion to think that her 2nd skill is not a one shot artillery is just silly. it even has a reset on every kill similar to karina's ult so thinking it's just there for the slows just doesn't make sense. she's built to snipe for what? to slow people? cmon

@@casbdav yeah but like ALL of Xaviers skills are kinda long range nuke. Novaria has only one skill like Xavier, that doesnt make her automatically a new Xavier lmao. She has old miya skill 2 as her first skill and her ult doesnt even deal damage compared to Xaviers laser beam
the previous one is way better
She'd make for a great roamer mage now, since ML is a game without universal warding options her new ult could be a gamechanger for example stopping most ganks before they happen.

@@luba5636 There's a range to the ulti right? It seems to effect a fairly small area probably the worth of a whole screen ahead which is not much compared to selena especially in consideration of cd and cc capability.

@@marknicolepastor7258 agree on that, Xavier’s immobility skills and burst potential damage is more impactful as when you skills hit or even put xavier’s wall skill on a bush already gives vision in such a wide radius.

I'm conflicted about this revamp. But increasing the hitbox of every enemy hero will make your teammates have a feast day during teamfights especially if they have massive AoE damage and control.

As for the revamp, I guess its mainly bettering her kit, im surprised they’re not giving her a sub support role with such a crazy good support ultimate that reveals in a large area lol. Its honestly good, but in exchange for no dmg at all.. im not that sure, her ult is now just used to increase enemies hitboxes and show vision. She should just get a support sub role mainly for this.

Her second skill can now pass through minions
Her ult will reveal all enemies affected by 8 seconds and her second skill will be greatly reduced EVERYTIME you cast and hit someone throughout the duration.
Agreed. Her ult would only be worth that cd if it dealt some cc along with the vision n bigger hitbox. Well atleast it can be reduced by fleeting time

@@yvsdaddy6662 the vision frm minions and a roamer checking bushes is alrdy pretty big considering ml's small map size so her area of vision isnt that much more usefull. Definitely needs atleast a soft cc to go along with it to make it worth the 50sec cd since skill has no dmg too which means it cant even be used to snipe
The thing is, having that big range to provide vision actually could wipe out enemies. That's why they nerfed the cooldown. Many heroes doesn't have that range, before they even reach her, they die already.

It's mainly used to support the whole team by making them more vulnerable. Her ult does not need CC, she just has to pair up with a hero with a good amount of CC or AOE. This means that the enemies would be more confused since they really can't anticipate if something will hit them or not if they base their knowledge from before her ult hits. Also, the vision is a massive advantage. You may think roamers are enough but as the wise philosophers said, knowledge is power. If they know the exact positioning of the enemy, your roamer would have a better chance of setting the enemy. It just need CC reduction for when her skill hits like guini
It's great that the heightened hitbox effect is no longer limited to 1 hero only. It'd extremely powerful in team fight when paired with skill-user heroes that deals aoe damage.
Also her VA sounds gorgeous 😳
But it gives mixed feelings when we're working on single target skill shots (just like Novaria), why would you do this to make it easier to hit the beef units? Squishies are objetively harder to hit that way
@@MagdaGust62 I mean by that same logic, all the tank had to do is to stand in front of the squishy and take the ult for themselves before, also Lolita could counter pretty much anything in her kit besides her first which is only to help Novaria clear waves to compensate for her 2 other skills.
Now she still offer a tool that can benefit her whole team against a bunch of enemies which is 10 times better than a single target skill that easily becomes predictable when u know which one she will likely focus.
What on earth are you talking about? Her skill set aren't single target. The second skill explodes on impact.
In a scenario where the enemy are clumped up together with heightened hitbox, her damage will be extended further.
Have you truly compared the ultimate before and after? The first iteration can be easily dodged or blocked by others and it only locks on 1 hero while giving brief vision to the surrounding area. This new iteration comes in the form of an aoe wave that can target the back line, giving you easier time to snipe the squishy heroes with vision and bigger hitbox.

@@Pepepopo__karma hitbox is an invisible thing that, if both the skill hitbox and the hero hitbox crosses, it counts as a hit

I don't know why but I really like the revamp. Teamfight capability is really strong as a it reveals enemies and avoid sneaking assassin to the backline. Ironically, unlike some heroes, it would likely be a waste if you use it to check bushes so you can't really use it blindly.

The new ultimate makes her less of a solo mage into a backlane supporter. When I used her with her previous ultimate, I didn't bother going into team fights and instead just attacked from afar, but this new ultimate makes her a very good initiator so it'd be kinda pointless if Novaria just stayed far from fights like I previously did.
Her 1st skill looks reworked too. I can see here that there only one meteor falling in the circle while earlier videos about this hero show many more smaller metoers falling down. If her ult does not deal damage I suppose nothing has changed since the old ult did not deal damage either
Increased hit box will become game changer,
Now my franco will not miss as often(skill issue), layla can hit 1-2 more bullet before enemy leave her range(mid game damage issue), zilong passive can hit multiple enemies(range issue), unexpected nana doll chasing(area skill issue), akai and balmon spin no need as near as before..
This revamp is good. Ultimate remove damage in exchange for 700% increase in hit box and all enemies hit will be revealed not just one. Range is not shortened too. This is better imo. I want her to be more in support side than mage, since we already have so much mages and I want more supports. Just an opinion.
Right I forgot about the cd. Maybe make it 50 seconds atleast, and it's all good. Her ult is basically portable Magic Sentry. She's definitely gonna use fleeting time so it's only fair, she also snipes enemies a lot so activating that item is no problem.
Her old ult is much better and much more competitive to use meaning to only players who had higher experience on playing will use her than beginners, but this revamp takes that idea away and instead players will play by 'her ult' and not by her maximum potential which is her 2nd skill.
It is not the first time a new hero got a revamp already before release.... Remember barats ult... It was first a circle where you get stunned while running out of it...

I do like this version of her ult bcs it give vision to all enemy compared to before where the ult orb reveal the closest single enemy and the higher hitbox effect still here to stay
Kinda like this new ult, since it can affect more heroes and give potentially more vision. But the 5 seconds duration might be a bit short especially since her skill 2 is a 2 phase skill. Just a bit worried about the long CD as other ults that can reveal heroes and damage them directly seem to have shorter CD if I remember correctly.
As a roam player, I really like this revamp. Vision is really important. I can feel she will become a meta and may appear in a pro scene too.
Finally, someone who could see beautiful roam potential in her and not as a soon-to-be dead hero who is useless for killing
True because I see that in the pro League, most players usually hides in bushes to make an attack (especially if the game is getting long) and she is the perfect hero to ruin that common tactic. (Not to mention unlike normal players who boost their a pro, real pro players literally see the potential of a hero that a lot of players see as 'dead hero' kadita and joy is the perfect example of that.)

I’d rather want that ult to be auto-locked and not just be in a straighr path. Her ult has no dmg so the best thing to do for that is to actually reveal all enemies in the map and not just by a straight path because imagine using it but it didn’t hit any enemies. I think she will be really good if she can actually reveal all enemies just like Aldous ult and YSS

I think she should stick with her old ultimate, this new ultimate would probably have a lower single target damage because of its huge hit box it's meant to hit as much enemies as possible. But I think her kit should stick to long range assassination, the 1st skill can stay aoe so that it can't be blocked, honestly I think this change was made because she struggles in team fights, and all they really needed to do was add like a 1 second stun to her 1st skill(only happens on the first hit, if they walk into her 1st skill after the 1st hit they wouldn't get stunned) , it still has slow, make it last longer, give vision and reduce it's base damage. And focus all her damage scaling on her ultimate and 2nd skill. She can combo her 2nd with the stun with the 1st skill but she have to get up close, reducing the damage because her 2nd should do more damage the farther the enemies are, that's why I think it should last longer too so that you can set it up as a ward, walk away, then when someone steps into it they will get revealed and slowed so you can snipe them. While in team fights, she can immediately use her 1st skill to stun the enemies and help her reposition, escape, or combo, this specially helps if the enemy is tower diving her.
What the. At first release in adv. Server, her ult can hit the enemy even thought the ult is passing the enemy, her ult can still hit the enemy.
And sudden revamp to her ult in adv. Server, looks like a wide wave, dang it.
So what I see here is that the Ultimate duration is only 5 seconds, and the 2nd skill has this animation where she grabs the meteor to herself which consumes a couple of seconds. That should be removed in order to spam 2nd skill since it's her main damaging ability and abuse the restart of the skill's coooldown as mentioned.
Nahhhhh, imagine if she had a skin and the theme or concept of the skin is somewhat starry, constellation or etc. HER ULT WOULD BE AMAZING
It's gonna be satisfying when you wanna contest the lord on losing side cuz how her ult giving vision really helping a lot especially if your tank isn't really capable giving good map vision when losing.
Still it's all for nothing if the team can't turn the tide after all that😂

i've been spamming her the last few days and i gotta say her original ult is kinda broken with 40% cdr.. that combined with her 2nd's absurdly long range snipe is just pure nightmare on late game. you still need to master how to land her second tho especially when it used to not go through minions. but yeah, if they release her with that ult i had a feeling she'll just stay on the ban list for a very long time.

Vision skills is very important because nowadays in high rank no one pick Aldous or yss anymore always meta hero so that mage/support is good
I think this is much better than the first one, it can revealed anyone in a path this is good for checking bush when your team want to steal the lord
Imo her ult needs a little bit more than just vision and increasing hitbox. She looks good on paper but will she be as good in real game? We'll see. I think adding a decaying slow would be good so she can make a better set up or counter.

If they gona make that her ult they should at least make it reach across the whole map so that we can see where enemies are hiding since it doesn’t do any dmg. Or just make it reveal all enemies on map and then keep the shorter range and make it so only the ones hit by the skill get the increased hit box while enemies everywhere are still revealed
I think this is better. I was actually hoping for moonton so release a support hero that provides vision but then they did this. I am all for it ❤❤
Now i think she can be good support for Xavier and Moscow. Because this two will see any hero. And they will have more accuracy by 50% bigger hitbox.

Before, her ult can only make one enemy hit box to be larger. Now its every enemy that hits the ult. Means it's good for war now. But the ult before has damage, while the new one doesn't
Moneytoon is too afraid putting the role support cause it's not marketable... If they dare this time (releasing Mage/Support), the revamped ultimate is so-so for me, as I'm Support Main myself.
It will be more effective if the ult is "circle wave" that gradually goes outward and the range is as wide as Luo Yi's ult

Ult still useless no damage & limited vision only. If u want to see enemies in not straight line, then use Yi sun. Not only it reveals them in any place in the map, it also damage them. Wish her ult has coordination with her other skills like after hit by her ult, they will be marked and her 1st skill would stun them & if hit by 2nd skill, it would create nova explosion. What a miss opportunity. Getting duller! new upcoming heroes look unfinished/rushed!

I wouldn't call this a "revamp". Everyone is just overreacting. Heroes in the advanced server are still in the testing phase. TESTING PHASE. So expect a change or two.
Devs must remove the animation of 2nd skill when her ult is active, it will help her to deal follow up damage which is fun
When u hit many enemies, using her ultimate, there is a chance to have a bigger hitbox to enemy
The ult its good if u have like xavier and moskov in the team and also good for atlas

I kinda don't like that line on the ground when she shoots her 2nd skill, it makes its trajectory very visible to the opponents. But oh well, at least the ult's better now.

@@esmondgoh3112 a lot of support deals a lot of damage but they still stay as support cuz of their skill set. Estes' basic attack and 2nd skill hurts af when hes on magic item build, carm can one shot most squishy heroes, and angela can 1v1 on early game. If novaria is like nana where her ult alone can KO heroes and her boomerang can halve other mages while still providing vision and cc as molina, until then shes purely for support.

I think they should lower the cooldown since it's now an vision skill and higher hitbox like 30 secs or 35
She can make enemy magic defense drop low, item magic penetration and magic burn is good for her.
she's a really good pick with those skills specially if you're playing a 5 man team
