Honestly shin , I think You should keep the general gaming to Livestream and focus on speculative and experimental videos for the general uploads . Testing new heros , items , mechanics and such

Honestly I've used her with a 60% win rate now but the problem is people think you can one shot heroes with her. She is to me more of a support than a damage dealer as her ult does no damage. Also people don't know that they should be in front of her as she gives vision
Yeah she's not really a threat in the early game but in the mid game she can be quite annoying
Wow she's more sniper than the actual sniper character in the game

Haven't been trying the latest version of novaria but I got a feeling she's more of a support (main)/ mage with her skill sets. Unless you've high accuracy aiming from afar , her skill 2 does little damage close distance. Unlike gord where his stun and aoe slow dmg can allow you to cast from the same distance , you need to back away farther if you want that skill 2 dmg to hurt.
Novaria's S2 is pretty fast though; unless the enemies dodge in the split second it's warning line is visible, you'll hit them.
also it actually scales on how long you moved away from the meteor in the first phase
I feel like she doesn't deal that much damage enough to burst enemy. Her skill 2 deals a lot of damage sure, but the cooldown is way too long for her to poke the enemy. Like Vale's skill 1 or Xavier skill 1. Her skill 1 deals a lot of damage when it's explode, but until it does it doesn't deal that much damage or slow the enemy enough. Her ult only being able to show the enemy location and buff her skill 2 while it lasted for 2 seconds so she can only use the skill 2 buff once feels really useless as a mage. Unless if she is a support then her skill set is really good, for poking and revealing positions. But for a damage dealer mage I feel like her ult is kind off lacking.
@@ralfian0234 thus my point is say if she wants to combo slowing the enemy first then snipping them (from afar) for maximal dmg , it sounds kinda tedious to play like that , eg slowing them at close distance then backing away just to snipe them. Same as selena's arrow , for all these mobile heroes it's not like you can have a high hit rate. And ps that sniping skill is pretty much novaria's source of damage.
Her ult pretty much just reveals the enemies. Doesn't even deals any damage to them. I'd say yss ult does a better job than hers at this point
@@justapasserby7285 if you S2 behind yourself then move towards the enemy, the second phase still deals max damage.
wait travel time of both first phase and second phase scales the damage, I've misread.
when you cast her 2nd skill, you can cast it on the opposite direction that you're going so you gain more stacks

not really need a really tanky team around her and she has no cc, the vision on her ult is nice but shes gonna be a fail

All I can say is that she have to rely on the team to properly function. Looking at her kit, she is not a hero that can solo, so make sure to play extra safe. She has no stun and her s1 and s2 has delay in it why can kill her if the enemy get close. Her ult does no damage except provide vision support. When playing her keep that in mind that you have to rely on your team most of the time. If you have a functional team you might win, but if not then most of the players will think that she is weak. She is a team work kind of hero and do not mistaken her with other mages that can easily burst down, one shot or solo the enemy.
Last word of advice properly learn how she function as a hero and not being brain dead to try solo the enemy. She is the type of support/ burst hero that helps the team to work, if the team can make her work.
just realize carmilla with novaria is actually strong because of the larger hitbox and carmilla ult aoe damage heroes are going to do so much damage

Can use flicker or sprint to make the ball return longer which makes damage higher

The magic wings will help her engage and disengage very easily
I remembered that her ult makes the enemies hitbox larger not only for her but for ur whole team. Idk if the changed that.
Not only can you go through walls but you can also go out of the map and move.
I mean her ult might be really good with allies that have hard skills to hit like Selena 2nd skill or franco 1st since it increse hitbox these skills will be really easy to hit with bigger hitbox

Oh, a mage that recieves a movement buff from one of their skills/passives? Making it harder for enemy fighters to chase? Also a cc to slow or stop them? Where have I heard that before? (Vale, Valir, Kimmy, Eudora, Aurora, etc.)
In all honesty, this new hero is literally (what if Layla s1 was a hero?) and I kinda like her. Also her design.
Moonton should revert her nerf on ultimate. Previously, she can spam skill 2 after ultimate.
