Metal Gear Solid is really the only thing I'm really hyped for. I was 14 when the original MGS3 came out and I still love those games. Mowed lawns, pulled tobacco, whatever I had to do I did it to make sure I had money for that game. I personally think this isn't just a MGS3 remake but also likely a reboot for the series as a whole. With Kojima's departure Konami will likely start the series over from scratch and make it their own while paying respect to the original story but giving us a new story that follows a similar path we are familiar with. Honestly, if it's the same exact game only with a bunch of polish I'll be upset.
So you’d rather Konami, the same company that created Metal Gear Survive, to continue this franchise and try to improve it? I understand wanting remake’s to not just be graphical updates, but in this case that’s probably the best outcome for actual fans of the franchise.
