Sitting there and going "pfft" at Chiesa's numbers while talking up Mitoma. Remind us, oh clever one, when did Mitoma pop off? Do a side by side fbref full scouting report without sorting. Turns out Chiesa is upper percentile in a lot of things, but his take-on percentage is kind of rubbish. But Mitoma has that same problem. Lots of won take-ons for both, of course, but that's mostly a function of a ridiculous amount of attempts. The downside with Chiesa is that we'd have to pay him 160-180k a week and his speed just isn't great. And he has recurring injury niggles on a regular basis, it seems. That being said, Chiesa does have a passing game in him and that might not be a bad fit for Maresca-ball.
It was Chiesa who scored a very good goal in the 46/47 minute and they went on to win that game and to be honest I thought they were going for him not long after that game
