As a crystal conjurer, here are some things I think about this: 1: Size and speed don't need to be changed at all. It's supposed to be slightly lighter earth with a special effect, not a speedy super-powerful magic. it hits HARD if you use it right. 2: There is no real reason for the crystallized stack changes. Crystal's Arcanium gives 75% defense and 25% Intensity, which is AMAZING when paired with Arcmancer, Superheated, and Charged. It lets you engage the gimmick more often by simply buffing the duration, and it also buffs other debuffs that make crystal do more damage (like bleed or melt). Crystal doesn't need these buffs. It is amazing as it is, and even though its only gimmick is triggered very rarely, the one thing I can say is "skill issue", because a competent Crystal user can proc it at very valuable times, like when an enemy is ulting or using a very long-startup move. Even if it DID get them, it would still be hard to use, and many people would still overlook it just because its gimmick is, well, gimmicky. It's just like poison: Overpowered when used properly, but slept on because of something that makes it hard to use (in poison's case, terrible base damage).
@@PillesArcane I got it from the stats, synergies, and clash rates. They are super similar, but crystal does less base damage, has less size, and is faster. Earth, however, is slower, larger, and more damaging. The clashes are pretty similar, but not by a whole lot, and the synergies are very similar too. Even the arcanium stats are similar (75% defense for both, but 25% size for Earth and 25% intensity for Crystal). If you want exact numbers, go to the wiki. I can’t care enough to put them here when there's a site that has all the info (except oddly the Arcanium stats) and is completely free to access.
