I have watched many videos about this and yours is the easiest to understand, with clear instructions. Thanks!

I really want to say a big thanks to you for this video. I had a check engine light that went away for a few weeks after replacing the purge valve but then came back. After watching your videos I started with this and replaced it no problem. A quick hour later with the battery disconnected and no more light! I hope I have no more problems but if I do, I'll check your channel first, thanks again!

Excellent video!!! Thanks for sharing. I'm gonna change mine soon. Just installing new brakes & brake lines first.

Thanks for this. Heard you mention partially dropping fuel tank, but didn't see where that was needed.

Extremely helpful. I used this video and the other video for the one on the manifold and made the installation take literally 5 minutes each. After changing this canister out the check engine light went off after about 10 minutes

Good to hear! Feels so good when that light turns off.

Video is very informal thank you ! I do have a question. So I replaced the Evap solenoid. Still the same trouble putting gas in it. Also I can sit there and turn it over forever and it won't crank soon as I let off and do it the second time it will crank but it struggles. Suggestions?

Evap. charcoal canister is the most likely cause.

I had my car tested and it said I need a new evap emission valve solenoid control circuit… this is the part they gave me in your video.. do you know if that’s the right part??

Hello I have been having this issue. I’ve changed both, the canister and the valve by the throttle body. I still have an engine light. Will it go off after the my truck is driven, or would I have to reset it to go out?

2006 suburban. Pumping fuel is fine, no loss of power just a strong smell of fuel after driving at the rear of the vehicle. Any thoughts on which component is most likely the issue?

I have this problem if I pump the gas on the fastest click, it will shutoff after about a gallon then burp out some gas, I have an engine light on that's probably related to that, is there another way to bypass the vent system? I'm not to worried about the light on, it runs great , I just cant fill the tank, also I live in a non smog area

Ya, that's frustrating. But, no, I'm not aware of a way to bypass the system.

I just tested this part and it clicks fine same with the one in the engine bay no carbon bits and the solenoid also clicks fine. The issue is the tank doesn't get full, I was able to just put in 16 gallons then the gas pump just clicks. At this point could I assume it's the charcoal canister that needs replaced?

Try replacing the vent purge solenoid. Had the same problem…fixed it and it’s cheap and easy… 🤷 🤞
