This is my favorite series chantel! It’s so fun and I love seeing the process of why you get rid of it over just telling us what you’re getting rid of🤩
Watching your video and asking for prayer. We just received a text asking for us to take placement of a child we had previously who is back in care. 💔 she was our most challenging placement and our lives have never felt more uncertain. It definitely isn’t a “great time”. But if this is where God leads, I want to follow. Please pray for guidance and direction today
Keeper of the Lost Cities is starting to make graphic novels. The first one is available, however, it's Part 1 of 2. I tried looking for when Part 2 will be released, so far I don't know. Your unhauling videos are so much fun to watch, thanks for posting!
Before 6 weeks ago, I had never even heard of Lamplighter but then one of my best friend's oldest daughter got an internship with them for 3 months so it's so funny to hear you mention them!
So many good books!!!!! I am just going to read book one of keeper of the lost cities this year. I think I will like it from all I hear. Those illustrated classics are so cute. But I love the POOH!!!!!! Oh yes. Since a very small child. when I was growing up the original little cartoon played on Sunday nights on TV
If you are at all interested in doing Keeper of the Lost Cities on audio, the audiobook narrator is one of the best I've ever listened to, she does all the voices so well!
@@ChantelReadsAllDay i may try listening to those!!!! I think it's fun to have audio versions of books to listen to even if I prefer to sit and read a book. They are so great for background while I do things!!!!! Right now I can listen while I stretch and to upper body exercises and learn to navigate chores in a wheelchair. I am super thankful this isn't forever! We so forget to be thankful for such important things
I think you did the right thing by getting rid of Bonhoeffer! I used to love Metaxas until i learned that his "biographies" have almost no source notes, and the sources he does use are very weak. So I consider his "biographies" more of long opinion pieces now.
I totally got what you meant when you were talking about the Pooh books. I felt exactly the same... until I met the audiobooks read by Peter Dennis. Now our whole family is in love! Can't recommend highly enough. Also, since this is my first comment I'll add that I love your channel:)
Also, get the Diary of Anne Frank that says it’s the definitive edition- it has previously unpublished material that Otto didn’t want published because he felt that it portrayed the family too negatively.
I'm more motivated to try Crenshaw during MGM after seeing you keep it. I finished Iceberg a couple of days ago and didn't really like it. I'll give the author another try since you liked other books by her more.
It's been a number of years since I read Crenshaw but I really enjoyed it, I'd like to re-read it with my little kids in a few years when they're a little older. And yes, please don't let Iceberg form your opinion, it's been my least favorite of hers!
I enjoyed the Bonhoeffer biography (had to read it in seminary), but it is slightly problematic in that Metaxis really paints a one sided view of him. And no, never get rid of Grudem’s Systematic Theology!
I actually filmed this a few weeks ago so the Sophie Quire book went last week when I was selling tons of books, Home Making appears to be gone too, I don't know if I sold that one or if I had tossed it in a thrift store bin, if I find it I'll let you know!

These shelf by shelf unhauls are so much fun to watch, and you are making awesome progress unhauling!
I feel good until I see all the books I have left, haha, then it gets a bit overwhelming.
@@ChantelReadsAllDay I'm sure! But from an outside perspective, you seem to be doing great 👏👏
I think I love watching unhauls because it's kind of a combination of incentive AND the feeling you've already done it! :D
Haha, yes!
Aaaaah i love Pooh bear so much!! Great job unhauling! Now we're going to need an update with what the kids decided. 😂
Passages is sci-fi/fantasy Bible story retellings. They were my absolute favourite stories when I was younger. I can't recommend them enough.
I commented this before you decided to unhaul them. If no one is interested, don't hold onto them haha

Yep. Favorite series of videos! Great job! Feels so good❤😊
I absolutely love this series haha

Oh that's cool! We actually own more of their audio dramatizations than anything, they are really good!

I also have a copy of An anthology of Modern Verse, 🤗
The Pooh books are so hard for me to read aloud (and I love reading aloud!), so we do them on audio. 😊

Brant Hansen, yaaasss
Been loving your unhauling! Hopefully your kids don’t keep to many of the books and ruin your hard work. 😂

I wasn’t a fan of Peter Nimble either.
Despite the fact that I also need to get rid of books, 🫣 if you get rid of Sophie Quire I would take it off your hands! And Home Making.
