These were such good ideas for something I really need to do. Now I just have to get over my feeling that I shouldn’t write in books! Totally agree about e-books. They feel ephemeral to me, which is the antithesis of what I want books to be in my life.

Read pre-read things like the front /back which tells what's it about.
    Highlight minimum.
Freyman technic - try to remember everything you read before starting a new chapter as you have to explain it to a 8 year old kid.
Know something about it from other sources.
Make minimalist summary of the book at end

    • @Srivanisareswathy07
      @Srivanisareswathy07 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

Step 3 Highlight in the right way :
      # impo concept I want to remember in future ( what you actually what to know in future , helpful in ur future)
      ## impo sentences ,phrase
Make a note in index page

    • @Srivanisareswathy07
      @Srivanisareswathy07 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

Step 4 Making minimalistic notes at the end of the book
You need to know what you actually need from that book

How to remember what we learn
Step 1 :Read pre-read things like the front/back which tells what's it about.
Step 2 :Freyman technic - after the each chapter, try to remember everything
Before going to next chapter, revise say as though you are explaining that chapter or teaching,,
you read before starting a new chapter as you have to explain it to a 8 year old kid.
Then after saying teaching recheck so that what missed points you can able to remember very well which point you left or stuck
    And also
Before chapter by seeing next chapter just by seeing name what can able to guess about that topic then read so it will be nice , and you can get touch with that..
    ...............................
    .
Step 3 Highlight in the right way: Highlight minimum
    # impo concept I want to remember in future (what you actually what to know in future, helpful in ur future) ## impo sentences, phrase
Make a note in index page
Step 4 Making minimalistic notes at the end of the book :
You need to know what you actually need from that book Take away
Make minimalist summary of the book at end
Step 5 : after reading book just Know something about it from other sources of book such as articles of that books ,review ,Ted talks of that book , youtube summary of that book .
So that you can get a different perspective of that their points also you can learn it about that book

I will try for your question to answer
To understand better of that book that perspective
You can see that book Ted talks , that book authors interview about that book , that book summary in many youtube channels , Google it of that book reviews many would be written about each perspective ,book forem
U can read front page , conclusion bez many authors as conclusion they have summarised of their perspective, index page you see it , see the topics ..

You select the book of your taste with means you like fiction ( means stories novels , thriller, crime ,more dematic, imagination, illusions books all will be covered here ) non fiction( biography ,auto biography, fact based books examples brain Emotions ,, scientific books scientific facts books , pyscology books, self help self motivated books ,life books ,all real , information oriented things will be shared in non fiction etc )
So you basically find what topics u like stories or information, reality facts you like
Examples what kind of movies mostly you watch itself said your taste with that you can select the books
So the perspective can be easily for you
I am tamil , really starting I too felt difficult but I can see many improving
So you can also do it , trust me 😊
