Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka is a masterpiece. The book was so depressing and I was bawling my eyes out. But this book was one of the best books I have read

Great video! Regarding Kafka on the shore, the elusive plot opens up several interpretations, and that's the magic of the book. I think what he mainly wanted to convey is that spirits can enter/leave bodies irrespective of the person being alive or dead. It surely needs second revisiting!

I wouldn't really agree with 'Kafka on the Shore' as a read for beginners. It's a long novel and the ending would certainly puzzle them. I would switch it with 'Tell Tale' by Jeffrey Archer. It's short and interesting. That's just me though.
Why haven’t you added the last lecture by Randy Paush. This is one your fav book as you told its very thin and has very easy language too. We are blessed we have such books.
