I’d argue that a lot of inner city crime (I live in Birmingham and grew up in the ‘hood’) is moreso done out of necessity as opposed to impressing women and financial gain. The seatbelt queation is funny. My dad was one of the few people whose life was saved by not wearing a seat belt. If he was wearing it I would not be here today. And yet, he always taught me to wear my seat belt, because it's obvious that was an outlier.
