I have results of lab tests, cholesterol readings, glucose readings, dental work, etc. I download all my EOB and keep by month on the computer. At the end of the year, I cross-reference to see if anything has been missed... it really isn't too much work as neither of us (thankfully) has medical issues.

As two of my children now live out of home, I think I’ll give them copies of the important records I’ve kept over the years should they need it. Could you please explain what EOB stands for? I live in Australia and as our health system is so different from your country’s, I’ve never heard of EOB. Health care here is government funded (known as Medicare), although doctors have the discretion to charge above the amount the government recommend they charge for each service.

I keep the EOBs for a year unless it is at the end of a calendar year. I keep health records too.

Do you organize your pets in the same way?
My pet information goes in my home binder. They have a section in that binder.
Also what is an air evac?
It is the company that will air lift you if something bad happens, like a car wreck. They are extremely expensive if you do no have insurance.
I live in a rural area and the hospital regularly air evacuates people to the closet city
