Bro, As far as I know a single cylinder engine bike's engine will be fully run in in about 1000 - 1500 kms. So in my opinion you need not to wait for that long. What mileage you get now should be the actual one. The service centre guys may do a little bit tuning of the Carburetor at the second service too. But that doesn't matter much.
Hi Ajith, Great video! Even I have the same bike. I too like many others face a mileage issue (only 25 - 28). Also, I have observed in many videos that the engine RPM during idling should be between 1-1.5k, however, I have observed mine is around 2k. Maybe you could you make a DIY video about carburettor tuning which includes how to reduce engine idling RPM. I have been to the service center and informed them about this problem, they have not fixed it, or maybe they don't know how to.

My Apache 200 4v is only 2 mnths old...still give less than 25 milage....i ride it in Amritsar good weather conditions....and I'm good rider i guess... I'm riding the bikes from last 5-6 yrs...can you plz help
Abhishek Puri, I think it will be a carb tuning issue or some other problem inside the carb. Some times a good cleaning and tuning will work wonders. Take it to the service center or to a good local work shop. Hope it helps.
Great !! Ok I'm also in the low mileage category, for 5 litre of petrol I'm getting 160km. Carburetor is tuned to 2.5 turns now, if I add more or less the power delivery the pickup is reduced. Air pressure I'm maintaining is more than company have set, it's 28F 35R. May I know how much turns for your carburetor tuning? And please let me know about your city milage

Is 32psi really enough for rear tyre? With only 32psi, the rear tyre is too flat and very difficult to turn on curves. I also travel with a pillion. My weight and pillion's weight almost sums upto 165Kg. I always maintain 36-38psi in the rear tyre. Anything less than 35 feels like riding a punctured tyre.
Hi Gaurav Gaur, RTR 200 is more reliable and has more features than NS200 like dual channel abs, slipper clutch etc. But in power and top speed NS has a slight upper hand on RTR. In my opinion RTR200 is overall, better than NS200.

Take the bike to service center. Also fill petrol from another reputed petrol pump. Check for leaks. And importantly ride economically. Your riding style influences the mileage.
Ratheesh Ramesh, Using choke to start the bike is not a bad thing. An engine tuned to deliver good mileage will need choke to start when cold. But turn off the choke few seconds after starting. And ride it slowly for couple of minutes until the engine warmed up.
It's not a problem to fix Ratheesh Ramesh. If you tell this to the service center guys as a problem they will tune the carb which will reduce your fuel efficiency.
Hi Arul Jebinson, It should be cleaned and lubed in every 500-750 km. If you ride in rainy or dusty conditions more often. Not encountered any sensor problem.

In that case there might b a problem in ur clutch system i was experiencing same issues.

No Jazeem. If you have that problem then you should clean the tank or replace the carb float or valve.
