    Another Job well done…….Just curious…After you finished the clutch replacement…will you advise customers of any other potential problems you might have spotted when working on the car….With this car in question, noticed the cracked cv boot and split far side suspension arm ball joint gaitor….the ball joint looked shot…

    I can just imagine what it would be like should Clutchman here decide to train a team of guys to work in his company. They'd probably all have to master Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do, before they'll be allowed anywhere near a clutch. It'll be discipline first.👌

      While I understand the element of surprise in martial arts, I'd still prefer wielding one of your well-targeted hammer blows to a tough opponent...I mean to a car's tough components. Can't get the two mixed up, right? LOL! 😂

    • @GASolomons

      I'm making light of a really tough job on this particular make and model. I'm again taking a leaf from your book of determination to get the job done. 👉 Great.

    Hi kevin on a new clutch set like this the springs on the disc should be tight or turn freely by hand? Keep up the good work!!!

    • @WMCS
      @WMCS  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It should be free. It will lock in place when it’s spinning

    What an excellent video and work ethic much respect! Quick question is the exedy hck2053 215mm kit used in this video the same on both the 8th and 9th gen honda 1.8 manual petrols would you know?

    • @WMCS
      @WMCS  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It should be the same as they share the same flywheel. But sometimes there’s slight discrepancies in the number of teeth on the spline ..

      @@WMCS Thank you so much for the reply, guess I will find out once the old one is out 😅 I've ordered the Honda Urea Grease to go along with it but was wondering if red rubber grease would be as good for the job. Keep it up though man your videos are a joy to watch!

    Hi Kevin, I'm from Portugal and I really enjoy watching your videos, because I learn some things that help me in my work. Can you tell me if on a Peugeot 407sw 1.6hdi I need to lower the chassis to change the flywheel, clutch and fork? Thank you so much for everything.👍

    • @WMCS
      @WMCS  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s quite straight forward but yea you have to lower the subframe a bit.
      Have a look thought the channel for a 1.6hdi engine full repair

    Love your videos Kevin, just doing this job on your own always amazes me, well done mate. May I ask you please, why you use the red rubber grease on bolts?
    And finally, when inserting the gearbox back into the motor, would trying to force the input shaft into the pilot bearing damage the bearing?
    Cheers
