R@ping underage girls highlighted Epstein's sexual power, and blackmailing powerful men in effect made Epstein more powerful than they were.
So the more willing she was to be humiliated, the more depraved he became, the more indispensable she became, the more powerful he became, the more willing she was to humiliate herself, and so on.

      Thank you for stating this.
I ran away to FL when I was 12, after having spent years experiencing csa at the hands of family and their friends.
At 14, I was befriended by a 35 year old woman (this didn't even seem odd to me, like why would a grown ass woman want to hang out with a teenager?) I even occasionally babysat her daughter. One night, we were sitting at the bar and she was distraught over her relationship with this man who she was infatuated with. He was much older, in his 50s, and she said he always called her fat and old and she was scared he would leave her. She told me she had a plan to "spice things up" by having a threesome with someone young and pretty... I was so scared that she was going to tell me that she was going to bring her young daughter that I VOLUNTEERED.... I was so young and naive, I had no clue that I had been manipulated into doing just that.
I felt sick afterwards. He reminded me of the men who had hurt me as a child, but all I could think about was that I had to do whatever I could, including letting myself be abused, to prevent another girl being hurt the way I had been.
It's been almost 20 years and I'm still working through the damage. I've been Baker Acted, had to attend countless group therapy sessions, and only ONCE encountered a victim who chose to victimize others. The overwhelming majority would do anything, including putting themselves in harm's way to prevent another person being abused.
I don't know if it's just that some people are wired differently, or that people react differently to being abused ... But I am so sick of hearing the excuse from people who choose to harm children that they were victims too.
That makes it WORSE. Knowing what effect their actions would have on their victims, and doing it anyway.

@@Viroh when it comes to children it's more complicated because children are...well... children. Manipulated children are 100% victims, they don't know any better and don't have enough experience and common sense to see that it's WRONG, it's all they know. Especially if they're as isolated as these children were.
Now Adults are a different tune because unless they were extremely isolated to the point where they couldn't be around other adults... they can see how the world works and they can learn from it, as such gaining experience and comparing the way they react to things they went through with how others have reacted to the same or similar circumstances. But when adults CHOOSE to be abusers, it's just that A CHOICE, they have more resources available than kids do. Which is ironic since kids are supposed to be more protected.

Power only corupts those who are already courpt, I aggree on one part alot of people are not self awara do not make it their buisness to do internal mental/psychological work and development on themselves to connect with themselves deeply with kindness and with others. most people run from themselves, hide from themslevs for a multitude of reasons. its not power that corrupts its that people are already corrupt and dont know it. we see that in people who follow laws just for the sake of following laws, people who are authoritarian and only know morals that are beaten into them order to them. If we had a real life purge (like the movie) how many people who do horrible things just because they can get away with it? do you follow the laws because of the laws or due to peer pressure (wanting to be accepted) or do you follow love and compassion due to understanding the gravity of harming others. how many things past and present are legal or not banned which are actually harmful to people but people think its okay because its legal? how many things to people to do others that harms them but people think its okay becaue it is socially or culturally normalised. Power just reveals who you really are. I am not a saint but I am self aware enough to know that with ultimate power I would be a dictator in to the extent of forcing people to do right by others and be ruthless when it comes to "mistakes" aka people being carelss and reckless towards others. While I agree with the possibility of her being SA’ed, there is little evidence for the Menedez brothers and its much more likely that was their excuse for killing their parents in cold blood. Casay Anthony also did this in her trail to garner sympathy even though everyone knows shes a murderer and there is again basically no evidence her father touched her. As someone who is a victim of CSA, I don’t believe we should excuse the crimes of someone based on their abuse. Many people are abused and never hurt anyone. There’s a few cases where women tortured and used their own sons to torture their daughters. Or a situation where a woman abused her neighbor she was taking care of while their parents were gone, and used the neighborhood boys to abuse a girl who was shielding her sister. The older daughter died, and the parents came back to only one traumatized daughter.
It’s easier to understand why they do what they do, but it’s also sick.

Irony at it's FINEST: the fact that some of these girls referred to Ghislaine as "momma bear", but she referred to them as "trash". But Karma sure did get the last laugh. Her plans for when she got older probably had her enjoying time on a luxury yacht, not locked in a cell at a federal prison. You reap what you sow, but Ghislaine obviously never learned that.

Gilaine had no identity without her dad. When he died, she lost her identity and started looking for someone to fill the void her dad left. Eptiene filled that void, and she would do anything to please him just like she did with her father. I wouldn't be surprised if they had a "daddy daughter relationship " in public or as konk in the bedroom. She does act like a child, always trying to get daddys attention, and epstiene obviously likes little girls.
Edit: I just got the end of the video, and Stephanie basically said the same thing. 😅

The fact that they were going to private schools in New York to scout children and that they approached a kid at Mar A Lago shows that they truly had no fear of consequences. Messing with powerful ppl’s children is a great way to get noticed and actually face prison time. It’s sick that not every child can have that level of protection

But maybe it was useful for the other victims as they wouldn't have much power to have something on him. The police were telling this girl that she couldn't stand a chance (she was from a normal family). But if you are from a powerful family ( that loves you) your family would fight your assaulters more successfully

I live in the town next to where Ghislaine Maxwell was hiding, I live about 10 minutes away from the house and oh boy that was a wild experience. Saw tons of cop cars outside the local grocery store just before she was arrested, there were so so many helicopters. Crazy experience in a pretty poor and sleepy rural area
